 Meh, figured this'd be good fodder to poke fun at it. As I'm typing this they're just after doing an absurd "Australia calling" thing for the interval acts....

So! 2014! Who would you like to win it? What you think of the level of cringe and cheese in the competition this year? Discuss, discuss~

For the uninformed: The Eurovision Song Contest is the worst thing to happen to music, where the countries of Europe fight tooth and nail to claim the annual title as the country with the most ludicrous mishmash music act. Most of the time you get mangled, uninspired gimmicks, but occasionally you get the /odd/ good song. It's a pity the votes are usually skewed by clique voting and favouritism.

Thoughts for the second semi-final: Georgia. Poland. Wat r you doin.
