Which statement? It seems like there was some kind of brand new discovery while I wasn't looking because I don't remember there being anything about Piccolo near 50% Goku's level. |

This statement. Chapter: 392 (DBZ 198), P13.1-5 Goku: “Hey… Piccolo! Did you go into the Room of Spirit and Time?” Piccolo: “Indeed.” Goku: “I can tell! You’ve risen to an entirely different level.” Piccolo: “…Why don’t you just be frank with me? I’ve grown stronger, but even so, it won’t do any good against Cell…” Goku: “…Yeah, it won’t do any good.” While it doesn't directly put Piccolo close to 50%, it's a good indication. |

The quote certainly doesn't say that Piccolo can't be near 50% Goku, but it seems a little too vague for the majority of people to just random slap him there. All that quote seems to tell us about Piccolo's power is that he's weaker than Cell, but stronger than he was when he went in. Vegeta's quote in the Buu saga is a direct comparison between his base self and Piccolo (and everyone else at the Budokai) though. |

We could always look at it by how well he fared against the Cell Jrs. and compare that to Trunks and Vegeta in order to get a rough estimate. I personally don't have any of them much over Super Vegeta (in regular Super Saiyan, and Piccolo with his own power). I'd be willing to go as high as in between Super Vegeta and Buff Trunks. I meant stronger, im sorry for putting a title like this , im not a racist , i am like Goku , i love and help everyone it doesnt matter what skin you have as long as youre good person , thats what all matters. And surprisirngly , i agree with your post. I think Goku strongest , Vegeta and then piccolo. But maybe gohan , let me use my intellegent. |

Goku isnt 2 times weaker than Goku , youre too much doing it work maann. and piccolo isnt stronger then 50 SSJ Goku , piccolo cant surpass so fast from imperfect cell below level. |

depending on how much u think the majin charm boosted vegeta u could even argue that gokus base could stomp vegetas bit off topic, what is the majin charm boost exactly? i know it is a potential release but how much stronger did vegeta get 1.7, 2,2.2 ect... |

We don't know for sure if supreme kai is stronger than piccolo do we? Supreme kai is a god which means piccolo was just judging him by his title and he couldn't actually sense how strong he is |

But how do we know buu saga base saiyans>piccolo? I'm hearing people say it's clear that base saiyans are stronger but I can't remember anything that suggests this Edit: ok so we have vegeta being confident abou fighting at the tournament even though 18 and piccolo were fighting. Did he know that piccolo was fighting though? We also have dabura saying "there's 7 of them. We can't use the kai or kibito. 3 of them are really strong." 1. The problem is that at that moment Vegeta did not know about the fact that both Piccolo and 18 are going to fight. Besides he was only interested about the fight with Goku. Thus he could agree to base, cause their gap would not change in any of the ssj levels. 2. I would believe Dabura or Babidi if Akira would not show a few pages later, that they are innacurate in terms of sensing someone else power. |
