Piccolo was stronge than super saiyans. but babidi killed piccolo krillin and kibito and needed only base saiyans.. are base saians stronger than Piccolo? I like goku surpassing piccolo but i want the clear answer and all.

But the only way I see this working is if you somehow decrease the SSJ multipliers over the seven year gap., which doesn't make much sense to me. If Base Saiyans are stronger than Piccolo, that puts them well over Semi-Perfect Cell. Without the decrease their SSJ/SSJ2 powers would be through the roof.

Because Ultimate Gohan>(many more)> Buu Arc base Gokuand other saiyans in base form.

Honestly depends on Toriyama or Toei mood. I for one always had Saiyans weaker than Piccolo without SSJ

So if that's the case then he's obviously still weaker than the much-stronger-than-Freeza Piccolo, too. The quotes in question from the Boo arc are easily interpreted in other ways. Vegeta's claims to superiority before the World Tournament can be taken as only in regards to his fellow Saiyans. The "marvelous energy" that Bobbidi and Dabra sensed within the 3 Saiyans was their Super Saiyan (2) power, as THAT was what soundly surpassed the other three present, and was enough to rapidly release Majin Boo.

I didn't watch the movie, but from what I do recall hearing about it, I'm pretty sure it was mentioned prior to Beerus and Whis ever meeting him, so there's no reason to doubt it.
