Death is a very common occurrence in DBZ but it's not very clear (to me, at least) exactly what goes on after you die. From what I understand, once you die, you turn into a cloud-like spirit and get sent to King Yemma's check-in station and he decides if you go to hell of heaven. Powerful warriors keep their bodies before going into the check-in station (I think I remember seeing the ginyu force with only half of their bodies though, may be mistaken) before being judged by Yemma. The confusion I have is with the station itself. Are powers negated in the check-in station? What's to stop powerful villains from blasting King Yemma? |

Yes you're right you die then your a spirit waiting in like at the check in station. Heroes get to stay in bodies, not powerful people |

This is a good question. When Raditz went through the check in station, Yemma claimed that he was able to subdue him. Raditz did not keep his body because it remained on Earth, so this means his cloud had power somehow. However I believe Dabura also went through the check in station, but Yemma didn't have to do anything. So I'm not entirely sure if I can answer he question. |

I think it's just the Anime that has villains in their bodies. In the manga, everyone who dies becomes spirits and those who did something beneficial to something get to keep their bodies (i.e. Goku saving Earth on multiple occasions). |

The question is if the clouds keep the powers though. Raditz says they do, but Dabura doesn't tell us anything. |

So it's never really addressed if people keep their powers at the check-in station huh? Or King Yemma is just so powerful no villain even wants to try to attack him |

King Yemma isn't that powerful, he has a PL of about 2,000, so he's weaker than North Kaio-sama and Saiyan Arc Piccolo, so no villain that died after Raditz would fear him. So, the first option is correct, maybe. Edited by Rogafufuken, May 5 2014, 01:01 AM.
