That's pretty invalid. Krillin also went to the Cell Games despite knowing that even Goku would probably lose. The humans show up because they are brave, not because they are powerful.

Yet Krillin put up a good fight against cell jrs.

Umm.... no he didn't. Even in the anime filler he got smashed. The manga makes it pretty clear that he got absolutely destroyed by one of them, and they were only playing around.

It irks me a lot but Krillin > Tien was made true by Toriyama. At everyone's peaks, I have Krillin at 6,000,000 and Tien/ Yamcha around Base Goku @Frieza.

Ten training means nothing.

What does the Shin Kikoho had pave to do with anything? It doesn't affect his power level whatsoever.

rofl

training means anything. how can tri beam not affect his power level? im not arguing with you.
I think what Super Saiyan meant to say is that it doesn't effect his ki (energy) level.
Ki level and power level aren't necessarily the same thing.

When Tenshinhan forms the Tri Beam, he himself doesn't become as strong as the Tri Beam. The concentrated energy is where the power comes from, not the amount of energy in it.
However, amping an attack by concentrating the ki into a single point is different than simply increasing your ki (powering up), even if it produces the same effect for your attacks.

So if Tenshinan's regular powerlevel is 2,000,000, he can amp his Tri Beam power to 100,000,000 by concentrating the ki in it.

you have some knowledge about dbz , so i discuss with you.

i agree with tri beam thing. but doesnt the humans get stronger when they arrive to fight the androids. I remember goku letting tien back off and go along , so tien thought he could fight along with goku. im sure krillin would do the same. he had potential unlock.

and i changed my mind and say Krillin is stronger than Tien. I like Krillin more anyways.
Indeed. All you have to do it just look at the different instances of powering up in the series.
However, due to the English Dub screwing up on a lot of information, this usually involves a lot of reading and looking at the manga, which not a thing that a lot of people like doing.

For example, when Goku and Piccolo fight Raditz, Raditz mentions that the two are able to increase the power of their attacks by concentrating their ki into single points, or areas on their bodies. That concentration of ki results in increased attack power, even if the characters themselves aren't getting stronger.
Goku from his Kamehemeha jumped from 416 to over 900. Piccolo's first Special Beam Cannon makes him go from just over 400 to over 1400. His second one (that killed Goku and Raditz) was a bit weaker, but probably because his PL had gone down as well.

However, then you have instances like the Kaioken, which is stated to actually double your ki. This is another way of powering up. Transforming is obviously another way of powering up, and actually involves changing the actual physical body in order to gain a higher level of power.

At the 22nd World Tournament in Dragon Ball (the one that featured Goku vs Tenshinhan in the final match), Krillin and Master Roshi mention that they can sense Tenshinhan taking all the ki in his body and focusing it into his hands, which we then discover is the "Tri Beam", which he uses on Goku and ends up destroying the tournament stage. Roshi mentions that the Tri Beam is potentially deadly to the user because of all the bodily ki it uses, and he also mentions that the Kamehameha is absolutely no match for it.

These are simply some examples of instances in which we can understand how "powering up" works in the series, but we still don't have a clear cut understanding of how increasing ki works.

I like Krillin as well, and perhaps Krillin's trains frequently with 18, and increases his power... I don't know.

Watch? I don't need to watch non canon anime filler. Please read the manga and you will find that Krillin doesn't do a single thing to any Cell junior. All of what you are suggesting is not canon.

I agree with Super Saiyan.

The reason why most fans of the caliber here don't take the anime as literal is because there's a lot in it that contradicts the manga, which is the simplest and most consistent plot, and that's because it was written by the series' creator Akira Toriyama.

Krillin in the manga was helpless against the Cell Jrs. Even Goku was in his weakened state.
The only ones who were able to even somewhat hold their own was Piccolo, Vegeta, and Trunks. Everyone else in the group is stomped by them.

The anime is an adaptation of the manga. The manga which was made by Akira Toriyama. The manga is what is the canon source in this discussion forum. The anime was produced by Toei who felt the need to add in pointless filler to the anime. This filler is what has been giving you false information. In the manga, Krillin can't do anything to the Cell Juniors and they are barely using any effort.

They are the same in terms of the core story. The same events do occur in each, it's just that the anime had to add extra scenes to delay for time. These extra scenes are what gives fans false knowledge.

I highly recommend that you read it, it's a really fun read. And by reading it, it will help to clear up any inconsistencies that you have learned from the anime. I was the same way when I started too :)
