A question I propose to all of you. We know that Saiyan power levels continue to increase after Super Saiyan, but when it comes to brute strength in base, do they simply top off? Gradually increase? Do they keep increasing drastically as the Saiyan keeps training? The only real reference that we have is Base Goku during the early Boo saga struggling to stay afloat with 40 tons (combined) on his limbs. People argue that it's because he wasn't standing on a solid surface, but the fact still remains that he couldn't lift the 10 tons on each of his limbs. He had to go Super Saiyan to do it. From the brute strength feats in Dragon Ball, logic says that he should be able to lift more than that, but this seems to not be true when we see him later in Dragon Ball Z. He goes from being able to toss giant Piccolo around a ring to not being able to lift 40 tons. I'm not really asking about specific Arcs, just what you think happens to them after they reach Super Saiyan. |

Well to be blunt Super Saiyan forms are like power ups.A saiyan or half saiyan I believe can increase his base strenght/raw strenght by training or weighted training etc. For example let us assume ssj1 increases a saiyans/half saiyans strenght, power and hmm.... suppose endurance by +10 Assume the following stats for goku BASE strenght:33 power:45 endurance:54 when goku goes ssj1 strenght:43 power:55 endurance:64 so as you can see base stats are increased temporarily by going ssj1 Now let us assume goku trained for 2 year's.It does not matter if he trained in ssj1 form or not.Only his base stats will increase. After 2 years Base strenght:38 power:50 endurance:59 when goku goes ssj1 strenght:48 power:60 endurance:69 So as you can see his base stats increased but the ssj1 adder or multiplier will remain constant(i.e +10). They can't be much higher than the 10 tons considering Trunks struggling in Vegeta's weight chamber and Vegeta still considering that sort of weight training relevant at all. |
