I know bardock being the original ssj doesn't work because the original ssj was on the original saiyan planet, not planet plant. So what do you guys think of these theories? Not sure if these have been brought up before btw How bardock got sent to the past: We've seen that a lot of energy can open a whole in a dimension. See hyperbolic time chamber. So he was sent to the past and that past is a new timeline he created like what future trunks did when he time traveled. How bardock being the first ssj can make sense: We've seen that time traveling can screw with reality so the events that happen are different and events that didn't happen can happen. So when he went to the past, in this new timeline, he is the original ssj, and it has nothing to do with the original ssj in the main story timeline What do you guys think? It makes sense since toriyama even said he views al the movies as if they're in a seperate dimension anyway right? |

I just think Bardock is in Hell because of how bad this movie is. |

I guess something similar to Super Boo's Dimension Rip would work. Maybe Freeza's Supernova or Death Ball was strong enough to do what it did in space. Just like Super Boo's was strong enough to straight up rip through dimensions. That's the best answer I can give. |

Freeza proven dimension destroyer. Hence why Freeza will never be 1.25x weaker than SSJ Goku...I rest my case. Edited by EMIYA, Apr 21 2014, 12:54 PM.

Planet Vegeta is Planet Plant though. Episode of Bardock isn't canon by any means, but I don't think it's completely inconceivable it happened this way or at least close to this. For what it was, lowering my expectations, this episode wasn't terrible. They captured Bardock pretty well, considering. |

I don't mean just friezas blast. I mean friezas blast along with the planet's explosion. But yeah it doesn't really make sense since that's still a pretty weak blast compared to buu saga characters apparently. @emmeth planet plant is the planet that the saiyans took over and called planet vegeta. Before planet, the saiyans had their original planet that was destroyed. I think that was the story. Not 100% sure |
