A fact about Ki energy

Many people think that Ki is separate to "physical" energy. But Ki is responsible for everything that a being needs in order to survive.
What I mean is, any movement (weak or powerful) requires Ki.
It is believed that using muscles doesn't require Ki, while due to Ki being life energy, it exists in every cell of one's body and is responsible for all life and thus- movement (weak or powerful).
Proof to this is if you absorbed all of Gokuu's Ki, he would die, he wouldn't just be "Ki-less" and still breathing.
Ki is converted into other types of energy, that's why it's perceived as a glowing, fiery essence only. While it is life itself.

Thoughts?

Yup. Everything living thing has ki. A little off topic but what I wonder though is that, is it also energy from their spirit or soul? For example, like the energy in yu yu hakusho or bleach? Would they be able to sense/see/interact with them?

Yep, I agree, Ki is responsible for ones physical condition for example when Goku fought cell. This is why it was acknowledge by all the z fighters and Cell that if Goku engaged in another skirmish with Cell that he would die. It was because Goku had reached his limits and if he exerted anymore Ki, at the Intensity that he and Cell were fighting at, he'd eventually run out of Ki and die.

Well spiritually speaking the eastern religions believe that everything is made up of energy or light. Some believe this energy comes from a higher power and that every living being is created from that energy. In essence then we are all just condensed light and or energy. There are different forms of that energy. From liquid, to gas, to solid. Hot and cold. And everything in between, but at the core of everything is atomic energy, protons, neutrons, molecules, or lifetrons.

In my personal eastern based belief we humans are created in the image of God/Creator/Divine Father, Mother/ Higher Power. We are a soul attached to God, but due to our 5 senses think that we are not. Reason I say we are created in the image of God is that our upright spine allows us to manipulate energy or our lives through, thought and action. We co create our own lives with or without us knowing it. God gives us every flowing energy into our bodies. And it is said to come through unseen channels into our medulla behind the skull and goes down into our brain, spine, nervous system, muscles, organs, and limbs etc. This lifeforce from that higher power animates us and everything around us.

So as it relates to dragonball, I believe Akira Toriyama had beliefs almost in line with this. He obviously believes in energy and our ability to harness it. It's just that he took it to a whole nother level. Dragonball is pretty much Tai chi on Steroids lol.

The characters take the energy within their innate powerful bodies and use it as destructive or protective forces. But yes after all that energy is what gives us the ability for everything since we are energy itself. The energy used within however is usually invisible and a different form of energy. Unless of course you are intuitive enough to see that energy.
