Frieza: Racist or Not?

Super Saiyan among Super Saiyans Posts: 3,294 Group: Member Member #7,044 Joined: December 7, 2011 Gender Male Country United States Favourite Anime Dragonball Z, Avatar	So, in the series, Frieza consistently made remarks that could be construed as racial slurs to Saiyans -- belittling variations of the term monkey. Now, the question of this thread is: Did Frieza do this because he is racist? OR Did he belittle Saiyans because he was scared of the Super Saiyan legend? In Frieza's Organization, there are soldiers of various races, and Frieza tends to treat them all similarly. From my perspective, it seems more likely that he belittled the Saiyans once he heard of the Super Saiyan legend. What do you guys think? Edited by SuperSaiyan1993, Apr 16 2014, 05:22 PM.

He was fond of Vegeta, which is why he destroyed the planet when he wasn't there, and offered Goku Ginyus spot prior to powering up to 50%.

Not only does he call Saiyans as a whole out of their names, but Namekians, and other species that he definitely didn't give a crap about.

It's not so much that you think a specific race is inferior to you, but more that you think EVERYONE is inferior to you.
