Get some accountability and realize this world is what you make it, not what others make it. My upbringing didn't allow for whining and complaining, action and having the guts to do what was needed is what was promoted. I'd take that any day over being suicidal over some idiot talking trash to me.

I was willing to be more vicious than any bully. I'd tear their freaking heart of if need be. When you bare your teeth and show the animals you are a dog not to be messed with, you never have any bullying issues. As Vic said, men will always try to dominate other men. Everyone plays this dominance game. Some lose. Some win. This is life. The true key to stopping bullying is willing to go further then them. If they are bigger, be prepared to bite them, poke out their eyeballs, rip their ears off. Make them wish they never looked at you and have to live the rest of their life with one eye and one ear. In any sort of male heirarchy, it seems like the highest male is not a bully but the guys just under him are bullys..they do that to maintain their dominance over the mass of lower ranked males.
