Google Chrome	So, what do you think the purple patches on Freeza's body are? As a kid, I always thought they were bone armor since he attacked and blocked with them. However, then I saw this It's denting under that punch and unless Freeza is spurting blood in the next scene from external bones being shattered, it's not bone. It could simply be a leather pseudo armor that would flex, sort of like the shell of a leatherback turtle. I want to know your opinions on these spots Of note is that Cooler, while non-canon, has much more of these than Freeza and his are definitely bony. Perhaps as his race grows older, they harden and get more of them?

Besides, muscles tend to have fibers in them and contract and expand when being used, while those stayed fairly still

Chrome Favourite Manga One Piece	Well, I don't know if it's canon, but in the anime Piccolo says "there's no way we're getting through his shiny new armor" referring to Freeza. So maybe it really is just a natural skin armor.

So maybe it really is just a natural skin armor. Which form did he say that about? If it was Third Form, that makes sense. Final Form, he barely had any armor. Even then, it'd have to be leathery enough to flex but tough enough to be defensive
