None of your business Favourite Manga Don't read those	Correct me if I'm wrong but they did become buddies off-camera? They barely had time to get acquainted in the Saiyan Saga when Tien was up training in the tower and Piccolo was training Gohan. then Piccolo was hardly at King Kai's for long so I'm assuming they got to know each other after Tien's revival and maybe they visited each other seeing as they both lived and trained in the mountains, maybe Tien had some sparring sessions with Piccolo seeing as Chiaotziu is pretty trash. They had a good bromance going on in the Android saga, noticed they were always together, it's really emphasised how "good" Piccolo has become when Tien first sees Vegeta and still hasn't forgiven him for his Saiyan Saga exploits, Piccolo really should have hated Vegeta too since he killed those villages full of innocents, you could say he didn't feel at home on Namek but then again Nail was still inside him. So did anyone else enjoy the little partnership Tien and Piccolo had going on during the early Android Saga? I just wish the relationships between each member of the team could have been expanded on, I'd have loved to see characters who clearly knew each other and had a past, actually interact, like Tien and Piccolo, 18 and Vegeta, King Kai and someone besides Goku. Unrelated but I loved Vegeta in the early parts of the Android Saga, the most powerful character for once and seeing Tien and Piccolo in disbelief and the androids fear him was awesome, although it didn't last long unfortunately. Feel free to point out any inaccuracies seeing as I base all my DBZ off the cartoon and not the book.

They're quite similar in a lot of ways, they probably respect each other, I'd imagine.

He didn't want to be bothered by any of them on Kaio's planet either, and regarded them as less than unfavorable when wanting to be wished back. I doubt he made up with them on the way. It's probably something Toriyama just overlooked or didn't care to get into.

It's relevant because Tenshinhan and Piccolo doesn't have a partnership aside from being part of the same group of warriors.

Posts: 790 Group: Member Member #5,932 Joined: March 30, 2011	As far as relationships go, I'd say for Piccolo: Family and best friends: Gohan (nephew), Dende, Popo Friends: Goku, Kami, Nail, Trunks, Goten Acquaintances/ respected: Tien, Krillen, Roshi, Future Trunks No relationship: Bulma, Yamcha, Yajirobe, Chaoitzu, Chi Chi Unfavorable: Vegeta, although I think Piccolo respects him as a warrior they certainly don't like each other. Whenever the Z fighters get together, I think Piccolo and Tien sort of bond over not caring for social events. Thus they kind of stay together in the background and probably talk about training. If I had to guess everyones relationship status to Piccolo I'd say it's like this: Family and best friends: Gohan (nephew), Dende, Popo, Nail, Kami Friends: Goku, Krillen, Trunks, Goten Acquaintances/ respected: Tien, Roshi, Yamcha, Future Trunks No relationship: Bulma, Yajirobe, Chaoitzu, Chi Chi Unfavorable/still respected: Vegeta, Kami

Goku I could see. Piccolo just doesn't seem like a guy who has friends, aside from Gohan.

Piccolo spent three years training with Goku and Gohan. @Dstreet: I see what you mean about Piccolo and Kami. They certainly have a love/hate relationship, but I'd consider them to be friends, or even family. Kami is almost like a father figure to Piccolo, even though they're kind of the same person. I also love the tension between Vegeta and Piccolo from the Frieza saga to the android saga. They had similar power levels (although Vegeta was usually stronger) and it seemed like they were always ready to throw down at a moments notice. Edited by sylentknyte, Apr 13 2014, 05:31 PM.
