What are your theories regarding why Goten and Trunks were Super Saiyans at such a young age? Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan all had to train really hard in order to reach Super Saiyan, and Goten and Trunks clearly did nothing to really supplement their incredible abilities. Do you think that Super Saiyan is genetic? If that's what you believe, why was Bra not a Super Saiyan (that we know of), despite her having the same genetic purity as the boys? A personal theory of mine is that Super Saiyan is a natural change that a Saiyan goes through once their bodies peak with zenkai ability. If Goten and Trunks weren't born with zenkai ability, then their bodies would've already exhausted their zenkai ability being that they never had it in the first place. At that point in time, the initial Super Saiyan transformation could occur from a simple toddler tantrum because mommy wouldn't give you cookies in the afternoon before dinner. |

They inherited a good portion of their dads power so their bodies are already really strong. That could've helped them turn ssj easier right? |

Personally, I run with the belief that the stronger you get, the easier it is to achieve Super Saiyan transformations. So, in response to: No, I do not believe Super Saiyan itself is genetically passable. But I do believe that your parents strength can give you a nice head start on strength and the ability to gain more strength. |

I believe that genetic reasons play a high role to turn SSJ, but like Vertical said not all of it unless Pan and Bra don't apply to this, perhaps theres a specific power level you must reach or posses in order to achieve the form, power level high enough so that the users body will be ready for the form. |
