Brock Lesnar break the Streak; WTF WWE

To my point that Brock had to carry the match.

Per WrestlingInc:

"Regarding why Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXX may have seemed off, it's said that The Undertaker didn't know what they were doing and had to rely on Lesnar to keep them going. Nobody knows exactly where the concussion came but it may have been on the single leg takedown where Taker hit his head on the floor."

I absolutely hated this! Why to Lesnar? No! No wwe! Just no! If anything it should've been cm punk last year! Oronius! On all accounts! He better not retire with the streak beaten!

I'm not gonna debate it further, but I think I can answer the above question.

WWE's roster is so awful, lacking star power, they have to end it to a guy who hasn't been entertaining in ten years.

Pretty pathetic that they have no other choices. Reminds me when Nash broke Goldberg's streak. Why Nash? Why not a new guy?

too many lesnar haters

i guess being successful at many different pro sports is bad
the dude was pretty good in the UFC, he had injury trouble which cost him some fights
and made him retire but the dude was a champ

hes 36 a little out of his prime but thats fine, still a beast

and who cares if hes a part timer
when the rock came back it was only part time but he had the WWE belt and a whole story line for him
and thats what there prolly going to do for lesnar, he will prolly be in the WWE more with bigger and better story lines
u guys are making a big deal over nothing

like pookie and others have said lesnar was a good choice, there werent many other good options to fight the undertaker, i would have love to see the rock beat him but u know

anyways dude was really good when he first started beat kurt angle and stuff, great fights
and im sure he can get back in that form, close to anyways
# haters gonna hate

Nobody is hating on Lesnar.

I would be okay with the streak ending to him, if the build up was great. It wasn't, and Lesnar put on a sloppy performance, and caused Takers concussion.

Lesnar had nothing to gain from it. He is a shoe-in Hall of Famer. No doubt about it, but he didn't need the win. He is already a big star.

Taker should have beaten him, and lost to Cesaro or Reigns or Wyatt next year. Imagine..

I'm still holding out for Sting vs Taker though.

And if succeeding at other things make you worthy, why not Jericho? He is a very successful singer?

Reality is, Brock cannot commit to the wrestling business. He doesn't even seem to have the slightest interest in anything other than the hefty paycheck.

Not to mention, he sued WWE to get out of his non-compete contract so he could go to UFC.

It's nothing against Lesnar. If Angle came back, to the same piss poor build up an a mediocre match, I'd still be pissed. Yet again, Kurt is the best wrestler on earth, so the idea of a Kurt match being mediocre is laughable.

well actually u are hating, considering u keep complaining about it
concussions and injuries happen in WWE, would u hate everyone who ever caused an injury by accident on someone else?
Taker performed worse then lesnar did anyways, even if it was cause of a concussion
Taker prolly wants out, and lesnar beat him just face reality
he should have lost long ago but he didnt he lost now and thats what matters
u act as if his career was a waste, bro dont remember him for one lose at wrestlemania remember his legacy that he created and just move on

Undertaker deserved to retire undefeated. He has given so much in terms of great matches. He didn't deserve to lose to a guy who's only a 3 time WWE champion & is only around part time. That's an insult to the streak.

I'm with Terror on this.

Taker's streak ending isn't the problem here. It was more so the way it happened. The streak being broken went to someone that wrestles 1-3 times a year and hardly ever has a presence on WWE TV verses someone WWE would want to push as a long term main eventer.

That's sorta the problem here.

but i mean it seems they wanted the ''big type'' guy
like batista or HHH and they couldnt do it
so i guess they chose lesnar i agree they could of chose someone better not that he sucks
but meh wasnt the best but far from the worst choice

better then rey or cm punk and stuff winning imo

If they were looking for a "big guy" to do it, then I don't see why Reigns should have been the one to do it seeing as WWE is looking to push him big time. Better to have someone that's going to stick with the company for a long time VS a guy that's their every blue moon.

I would have preferred to see him get super screwed by a heel. I'm not up with WWE these days, but I remember back in the old days in WCW when Goldbergs streak got beaten. When he got done by the stun gun.

I guess your right.

Still, it's a rather piss poor way to end a phenomenon that lasted for over 2 decades.

i will say this, it wasnt bad by any normal means of a fight- sorta it was acceptable really
but i agree for the 2 long decade it did not live up to the hype and what it should been

undertaker out of place
somewhat questionable opponent
little build up
ect...

People really underselling Lesnar here. He was the face of the company at one point and had one of the best Mania matches ever with Kurt Angle. He also has a natural mythos.

I understand people being upset about the result but don't say Lesnar is not a legitimate entertainer. There's a reason he was the highest paid fighter in the UFC and one of the highest paid wrestlers now despite only being around a fraction of the time. He was the biggest PPV draw for the WWE and was for the UFC.
