Did you like his personalities better in the movies over the comics and everything else not related to Christopher Nolan?

Firefox Favourite Manga Dragonball	I didn't like Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne. He didn't seem to separate Bruce from Batman. They were one and the same. In the comics and the cartoons they are completely different characters. Also he's one of the weakest Batman's ever in terms of combat ability. Michael Keaton would have wrecked him. Comic book Batman takes on Gods, robots and aliens. So he's pretty overpowered compared to any of the film versions.

I also didn't like Christian Bale as Batman, and actually believe that he's just as bad as anyone who played him in the Joel Shoemaker movies in the 90s. I didn't really think the character was written badly for the Dark Knight series, it's just that he's a terrible actor in my opinion. Given this utter dislike that I have of Bale's Batman, I'm willing to give Affleck a shot considering he has no one spectacular to prove himself against. So if he does bad, I don't think he could be much worse than anyone else who's done it in the past.

Also not a fan of Christian Bale, as Pel pointed out he didn't seem to make any differences in character when playing Batman or Bruce Wayne.

Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Berserk all day erry day	I thought these were the best too. Batman does fight Gods and stuff in comics but I like this more realistic kind of version it made for some good non ridiculous action. Beats the nipple suits and Batman & Robin... My god though, have an ICE day, how anyone could genuinely prefer that movie for the plot etc. The problem for me was also Bale, he was hit and miss really all the other actors in the series played their roles perfectly. I'm not sure who would be the perfect Batman but yeah not Bale didn't much care for his raspby Batman voice either. Overall I'd give the series 8 out of 10 and rank them Batman Begins, Dark Knight Returns and then The Dark Knight.

I thought he was great in Batman Returns, fourth in my Batman list(discounting animated movies) Not so much for the action parts but none of them except Bale were really that involved there anyway. Well Adam West did a lot of action stuff I guess. He didn't sound like a Batman level genius but he did sound smart, probably the smartest of the lot of them. He had the detective part down as far as I'm concerned. Maybe Ben will be the perfect mix of intelligence and action of which we greatly need both from a Batman movie.
