Which may be the cause of Mace getting the upper hand over Sidious if Sidious not losing on purpose to help convince Anakin isn't the case. Edited by Professor Gohan, Mar 24 2014, 12:18 PM.

Chrome Favourite Manga Seven Deadly Sins, Food Wars, Onepunch-Man	I don't think Mace is all that exceptional as a Jedi Master to be honest. Other than his saber fighting of course. His fight against ol' Palpy only went so well because of the nature of the Vaapad style IMO. - It gets stronger the darker the user is. Mace's attachment to the republic had been severed quite roughly at the time, and that was one of his primary attachments. - It uses the rage of the opponent against them. And Palpatine can use a notorious amount of rage. Even then I think Palpatine threw the fight. ------------- I reckon if Mace doesn't kill him in a saber duel, Starkiller would wreck him with the force. Also, I was admittedly overly ambitious in thinking that Starkiller could take on Yoda. However, Starkiller and Mace both have this common feat: taking on Sidious effectively enough to at least seemingly gain an initial victory. This puts them in the same playing field. In addition, both Starkiller and Mace could defeat Vader. Sidious > Mace ? Starkiller > Vader There is a differentiation between the two (as Crashbreaka pointed out) in lightsaber and force skills Lightsaber skills: Advantage = Mace Windu. Reasoning = Vapaad style. Force skills: Advantage = Starkiller. Reasoning = Brought down a Star Destroyer and could Hold Back Sidious' Lightning Temporarily without a lightsaber Predicted Outcome: Roughly Even. Depends on the Context. If there is rage for Mace to exploit, he could win w/ Vapaad style. Chromme Favourite Manga Dragon Ball	Lol at people using Windus fight with Sidious to say Windu wins... First off, Windu is only a slightly better duelist/greater in TK than Fisto, Tiin, and Kolar... Hell nothing says Windu is more powerful than Fisto, Tiin, or Kolar (well, proabably Kolar since he has no force feats, but thats it really...) Fisto has moved giant tanks and defeated armies under water and created force orbs.... Tiin threw a SBD farther than Windu and Windu himself admitted Tiin had greater Tk than him... Tiin has also fought Windu as an equal... Windu has also failed to defeat Sora Bulq (only stalemating him, and running away with a force push...) and Dooku has tooled Bulq who had Tholme helping him... Windu was only slightly greater than Ventress...their fight was dead even.... Windu lost to Vastor aswell... Windu only stalemated Sidious (in sabers) do his amp. Windu was fighting for the republic (ie everything he believed in...) this amp allowed him to keep up with Sidiouses speed...If not for the amp, Windu would have been blizted just as hard as Fisto, Tiin, and Kolar (hell Fisto IS faster than Mace...) And even than, with a extremely large ampp Windu could only stalemate Sidious...He had to use Anakins fear/shatterpoint to gain the edge on Sidious...and even than its still debatble wether Sidious threw the fight and Windu even admits to Anakin in the ROTS novel Sidious was far to powerful for him... Besides, Sidious could have TKED Windu at anypoint in the fight. He choked Dooku from a hologram and TK'ed Savage/Maul. Both Dooku/Maul are greater with the force than Windu... as for the fight, Mace slaughters. He was the second best duelist as of AOTC (stated by Nick Gillard) and fought Grievous evenly. He has stalemated with Saesee Tiin (one of the greatest duelists in the history of the order) and has defeated Asajj Ventress... Galen is nothing special...He couldint defeat Kazdan in a saber duel and only won do to crushing Kazdans sculptures, was losing against Maris Brood a complete and utter weakling, and only beat Kota do to Kota having a flashback... Hell, Shaak Ti who's FEATLESS was wooping him until she got tired... Only reason Vader beat Galen was because he gave up knowing that it wasint time to overthrow Sidious... and the Vader that SK beat was Vader NOWERE near his prime (ANH Vader could only slatemate ANH Kenobi who was far weaker than he was in ROTS, it wasint until ESB when Vader regained his power/skill....) So, Mace destroys here. Badly.
