Does that mean I want my mom/sister/future daughter doing it? f* no, you are crazy if you answer yes. not crazy, just a different perspective. when you understand that as long as there is informed consent on both (or all) sides, there is no such thing as bad sex, then having a friend or relative that is a sex worker is no big deal. because both of the guys i've had sex with were completely meaningless, and i did it for free, and that was fine. so if my mom/sister/friend had meaningless sex, and got paid for it, that's better than fine. money makes sex better, not worse, because then you get a tangible reward from it. the sex is no longer actually meaningless, because it had a purpose. this is why in documentaries, you hear about prostitutes who enjoy sex more when they are on the job. the money becomes a sort of fetish for them.

I respect their choice and I'm not going to judge them over something like sex, it's not a big deal for me to begin with. It's their life, not mine. Who the hell cares if they get paid to have fun? As long as she'd be of age and it was legal I wouldn't care, that's something you guys don't seem to understand. There's NOTHING wrong with liking to have sex, caring whether or not they get paid for it and complaining is just absolutely pointless.

Construction, driving, firefighting, a cop. I hope I don't offend by comparing them to jobs that are seen as "noble," but I honestly would be concerned only for their safety. You also need to realize that there are many reasons why someone would pay for sex, especially if it were a legal avenue to obtain sex. Social awkwardness, a fear of commitment, a desire for frivelous sex...they may not be the way you think, but it doesn't make someone a lowlife or creeper.

I just don't see prostitution as a legitimate job I'd want anyone I love partaking in. Yeah it can be seen as selfish and me not caring what they love, but I highly doubt most prostitutes want their job. I think we can just end it here, because either way I'm not going to ever support a family member becoming a prostitute. And if my future daughter ever became one, I'd know I would have seriously failed as a father.

If a key opens two or more keyholes, then it's consider a MASTER key. If a keyhole is opened by lots of keys, then it's considered crappy. In other words sex is like this men f women, women don't, f* men. Unless the guy is taking a dildo drilled up his arse. there no double standards that's just some political BS by feminists.

I think that one of the biggest reasons for people being against prostitution as a legal system is because of the moral stigma associated with it. He answered the question with a very specific reason for being against his mother as a prostitute, so I asked him to consider it on a more general level. Also, women are not keyholes and have the same right as men to initiate sex.
