Does SW TCW contradict the Movies?

I just watch a clip from The Clone Wars of Anakin and Obiwan vs Dooku that took place after EPII and before EPIII.
How is that possible? Because in the duel at the beginning of EPIII, Obiwan said to Anakin, this time they will take Dooku together, which was supposed to be a reference to thier first duel with Dooku on Geonosis. So this would mean that they only had one duel before EPIII. So in a way Clone Wars is contradicting the Movies!?

Yup. That happens sometimes. What is crazy is Clone Wars came out after all that, I am pretty sure. So why is a mistake like that even made?

I tried figuring this one out myself. It is a little contradiction - that is, if someone else can come by and tell us something different or something we both do not know. Clone Wars should be taken serious, in my opinion, but not as serious as the movies. With that being said, They only fought Dooku once before Ep. III in a way, sorta.

I've been watching season 6 recently. I find the whole story arc that's foreshadowing Order 66 to be somewhat contradicting to other material.

Regardless I actually find it intriguing. Though I still liked the whole Umbara story arc best - really had a dark element to it, and was really foreshadowing what would happen in EPIII.

Super Saiyan among Super Saiyans

Yeah it's true. That quote was meant to reference the Episode II duel. The quote Anakin says: "My powers have doubled since the last time we have met Count" was also meant to reference that too.

Unfortunately, since neither of them say the last time "at Geonosis", TCW producers can simply say that EP II was not the last time they fought.

Regardless of that little loophole, at least what I do is to just ignore the CW parts that conflict with preestablished canon and accept the rest.
We Super Saiyans are in a league of our own.

Obi-Wan and Anakin's quote is a mention to the duel in EP II but clone wars only retcons this it doesn't contradict the story that much.

It does make Epi III Anakin a monster compared to Epi II Anakin with the my powers have doubled quote.
