Mozilla Firefox	Trunks, seeing how weak Goku is compared to him, lets Goku win out of pity. I don't think untransformed saiyans ever got anywhere near "Cell Games Z-Fighter Super Saiyan" tier.

And base Gohan held against Super Saiyan Broly in Second Coming, who was stated by the Daizenshuu to be stronger than Super Saiyan Goku(likely Buu Saga Goku since Second Coming takes place in the same general temporal ballpark as the Buu Saga). The thing is that DBZ movies make untransformed saiyans do things far beyond their power.
