Sorry bro. It must be done.
I don't understand what the apology is for...

I still stand by it.... they should have walked away with a three peat.

But I'm a fan of the game before I'm the supporter of my team... and I believe that Ginobili deserved F-MVP by far. He may not have had the flashiest buckets, or the overpowering stats... but I firmly believe that he made the majority of the "key" plays... and in all honestly, I don't even like the guy or how he plays.

The Spurs outplayed the Heat in all 5 games and quite obviously deserve the win. The Heat were damn lucky not to be swept.

It would've been a much better series if:
  • Eric Spoelstra had any idea of how to coach
  • Anyone other than Lebron turned up
  • Mario Chalmers wasn't gunning for Spurs 6th man of the year

I think it's a terrible shame that the game of basketball that Lebron wants to play is what just steamrolled the Heat.

I wouldn't say they should have won it at all. The Spurs were a much better team from the top down. Miami literally only had LeBron and no way he was gonna beat that Spurs team by himself.

What during this year showed you the Heat should have won? They played in the horrible Eastern Conference, didn't even get the #1 seed in the East and coasted to the finals against mediocre opponents.

Meanwhile the Spurs dominated the regular season, obtained the #1 overall seed, had arguably the greatest bench of all-time, had the hunger for a title after what happened last season and played three far superior teams (than the Heats opponents) in the playoffs.

Simply because they had all the right pieces in place to win another championship... and an intelligent plan from the start of the season... it simply wasn't executed well.

Their performance during the year means little because it was their intent to rest/recover whatever chance they could (as they've been playing basically non-stop for 4 years). The major problem is... come finals... Lebron was the only one turning up to play... and their coach does not make wise decisions.

I feel most people are blaming the Heat team too much and not giving enough credit to the amazing defensive rotations of the Spurs.

There was literally always a double triple team inside the paint. Passes were being picked off at a rate the Heat had throw slow and high passes - which just lead to the defensive rotating faster to the open three point shooter.

I don't think the Heat should have won I had the Spurs winning this series from the start. They're just a better team than Miami is, but I do think the Heat could've played better if anyone other than Lebron showed up. Even then I'd have them losing in 6 or 7.

But definitely credit to the Spurs they just completely outplayed the Heat on both sides the entire series.

LMAO, Chalmers winning 6th man of the year for the Spurs. You win the comment of yesterday, but I wasnt there, so comment of today.

But seriously, i thought nobody was going to beat Miami, even tho i wanted the Spurs to win. So great job Spurs. Well deserved for Kawaii Leonard, tho i thought Pop deserved the MVP. That would have made a statement.

This title makes Duncan hands downs a top 10 player of all time and makes a great case for him having a better career than Kobe. This title further supplements my thought that Greg Popovich is the greatest coach of all time.

And boy does this hurt LeBron's legacy. 2-3 in the finals, no bueno. Cant see LeBron staying with this sorry a*** team, Wade is done, Bosh is a bum, Chalmers was being paid by the Spurs.

Closing thoughts, i am down 500 bucks betting on Miami to win the series :(

Edit: i dont think Spoelstra can be blamed for the lack of defensive talent, only LeBron played an resemblance of defense. Along with the only one playing defense, he was the only one playing solid offensive ball also. Heat just werent that talented on either side of the ball. AND the Spurs were clicking on all cylinders defensively and offensively.
