Question about MSSJ (possible translate request)

Chapter: chapter 391 , P7
Context: Goku coming out of ROSAT and talking about MSSJ
Piccolo: But they have trained to stay Super Saiyan in normal circumstances.
Trunks: When they fight, can they get stronger?
Vegeta: Stupid! Think about it. This is the best way! If he gets used to the form, when he increases his ki, his body weight wont be that heavy.

Basically, what im assuming here (if the translation is correct).. MSSJ is ASSJ/USSJ without the need of altering body weight. It didnt simply remove the strain.. It created the advantages of ASSJ but removed the disadvantages.

Yeah, it looks like whoever you got that quote from altered it from Herms' translation for some reason.

Quote:

Chapter: 391 (DBZ 197), P7.2-7
Tenshinhan: “…Hey, Goku and Gohan were Super Saiyans just now, right? But even so, they were very…how do I say this?...Natural-feeling…”
Piccolo: “…I think there’s no doubt that they were Super Saiyans…However, they’ve trained so that they can exist in that state at an ordinary, everyday level…”
Trunks: “S-so then…When they fight, they’ll [perform] an ev-even more tremendous transformation…!”
Vegeta: “Are you an idiot?...You don’t seem to think things over…They’ve judged that state as the best! If they get used to that as a matter of habit, then even if they raise their battle power, the strain on their body is very small! [ ] They’ve thought this through…”

And "raise their battle power" doesn't mean "power up beyond the normal range of Super Saiyan power." Because... well, that's what Trunks thought they would do here and Vegeta calls him an idiot for it. It's just talking about if they power-up to fight instead of being suppressed like they are right now (as Piccolo pointed out in this quote).

Like I've pointed out before, there's absolutely no indication anywhere that the mastered Super Saiyan state is "all the power of the Grades but without the drawbacks." It's Super Saiyan, and nothing treats the power boost from it as anything different than that of Super Saiyan. The SEG actually explains Goku and Gohan's immense strength by citing that being able to remain a Super Saiyan grants a boon to training. Goku and Gohan were so much stronger than Trunks and Vegeta because they grew in power overall to the point that they were stronger even with an "inferior" transformation. Something like...

Trunks: 10
-- Super Saiyan (x50): 500
-- Super Saiyan Grade 2 (x75): 700
-- Super Saiyan Grade 3 (x100): 1,000

Goku: 50
-- Super Saiyan (x50): 2,500

As far as I know, it's not like that. Where did you get this quote?

Chapter: 390 (DBZ 196), P6.1-2
Context: Goku and Gohan emerged from the Room of Spirit and Time
Vegeta (to self): “…What’s with them?!...Is that Super Saiyan…!? No…It has a slightly different atmosphere…They’re being so natural in that state…”

This is the only thing I could find on the subject, and it's just implying they are using less energy being Super Saiyans.
