"Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the war room!"

Cosmos took the world by storm back in the 1980's when it was hosted by Carl Sagan, and at that time was called "Cosmos: A Personal Voyage".

The series is being re-booted in a 13 part miniseries that will be broadcasted on several different networks, and is hosted by astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson. This series is being called a "re-envisioning" or even as far as a "sequel" to the original series by Carl Sagan, and has been named "Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey".

For those of you who don't know who Neil deGrasse Tyson is, he's an astrophysicist who is the curator at The Museum of Natural History in New York City, but is perhaps "infamous" for being the man to decide that Pluto was not actually a planet. He actually said that after he decided that Pluto was not a planet, he actually received death threats.

This series premiers this Sunday night at 9pm Eastern in the US.

I'm really excited about this series. I liked Cosmos during it's re-runs in the 90s, and I am a huge fan of Neil deGrasse Tyson.
