I found this in herms Chapter: 312 (DBZ 118), P4.5-6 Gohan: “F-father can win…” Piccolo: “We can’t know that…Their power far surpasses our understanding…” When talking about people who are much stronger than he is, he can't even understand their power. Doesn't this mean we shouldn't take any power statements from him into consideration? Can we still trust his statements when he says A is stronger than B?

As wrong as he was about Base Gotenks having a chance, the fact that he says he has a chance says a lot more than what he thought was going to happen to Pre-Gotenks. Piccolo's remarks are what helps us the reader, get an idea on where the characters are at. The same reason we use him to negotiate the difference between Kid Gohan and Majin Vegeta/Goku.

I understand your position, and do not want to turn this towards Gotenks and the gag situation... but I just want to point out that a ridiculous boost is not a necessity. Personally, I have my Goten increase his strength by roughly 20%, and Trunks by slightly less... and my Gotenks surpasses his SSJ self.

I could however change if MSSJ gave 5x boost to Base Saiyans at all times and then 10x when they turn SSJ, that would only give Gotenks a 10x boost during the 2 weeks, which is something i would agree with.

Piccolo's ki sensing is perfectly fine later on. That is true, but Piccolo was a lot stronger later on as well. He noticed Goku's power not being as staggering as it should've been when he fought 19, and the fact that Piccolo beat the living piss out of 20 is evidence to him getting a lot stronger in 3 years time.
	The vengeance is her's for as long as she stands by Him.
