Where do you place [Cell Games] Piccolo?

Piccolos hearing is good, but its not 10 km good.
That's the distance between Kami's place and Korin's? :o
Could be :P Its a big distance nonetheless, it was too far to be seen from the naked eye so most likely more than 1km away, and i dont know how long it took for Goku to get there at the beginning.

Piccolo would have known how strong Cell was from hearing Goku's conversation with Karin.

Your other link really doesn't address anything I said. Yes the Cell Jr's were toying with the humans, but that has no bearing on why the Jr's didn't put down vegeta trunks or piccolo, even after cell told them to stop fooling around. The humans were knocked out by the time cell said to stop fooling around, and we dont see the jr's landing any more blows on the unconscious humans after that, yet we still see them still tango'ing with piccolo and trunks and vegeta after Cell's comment, all the way up to Gohan turning SSJ2.

Pretty sure bet. Once he feels Goku's ki, Piccolo would tune in to find out what the heck Goku's up to.

Im not so sure Piccolo is surprised there. Its one thing to know Goku's power intellectually, and another thing to feel it first hand. Goku's ki would probably feel like a sledgehammer to someone like Piccolo, hence the reaction.

But it's even better than that. Piccolo heard Cell telling Trunks about the cell games from the lookout. Whether its because of his namekian physiology or from the godly senses he inherited from kami, I dont know, but he did inherit Kami's godly senses. Piccolo was able to see Hercule befriend Buu for strategic reasons and he saw Fat Buu's transformation into super buu from the lookout. Kami also heard trunks on the battle field say that the present androids were different from his androids, all the way from the lookout.
