Not only does Vegeta believe himself stronger than Goku, he also believes that Goku will lose... so Vegeta's hypothetical Cell has to fit in between 50% Goku and SSJ Vegeta too. SSJ Vegeta > [Vegeta's Expected] Perfect Cell >~ 50% Goku I'm not saying he can't fit in your gap. I'm just noting that you might not be aware and thus might not be comfortable with him squeezing in there. Personally, I like to put Vegeta at about 70% Goku. There was the five year gap prior to DBZ where Piccolo trained hard, but didn't get any noticeable gains at all because he was still behind Goku. Goku says he had gotten stronger in RoSaT. And Piccolo said he had focused on techniques rather than strength in those five years. Just wanted to point that out That is true, but before his ROSAT training, he was only at 17's level. And he nearly got killed by a powered up 1st form Cell. Jumping up to a level between 2nd form Cell and Super Vegeta is a decent leap through 1 year of intense training.
	The vengeance is her's for as long as she stands by Him.

I would say his power is on Par with Trunks Assj.
