Can you bribe King Yemma?

Fortuneteller Baba brought Son Gohan from the other world to the living world, I dont really see a reason why he would be allowed to keep his body, even less be allowed to the living world. But this line sparked my interest.

Chapter 108
Page 9
"Muten Roshis honorable sister is able to move freely between this world and the afterlife. And so she scouts deceased martial arts masters from the afterlife, paying them a handsome salary to come fight matches for her here."

He continues by saying that he can only be there for one day..
So is Fortuneteller Baba bribing King Yemma or is this a plot hole?

No she pays the dead martial artists to come and fight for her. This is still pretty dumb as they are dead, and don't need any money.

I should maybe clarify, how does she get them back to the living world? Isnt Yemma the only one who can allow this, and if he is, why would he do it for Baba?

I dunno, if you ask me Yemma probably doesn't care so long as they are from heaven. I'm sure he would protest if she wanted to bring back a soul from hell, but I honestly don't think she would pay him or anything.

To my knowledge, Son-Gohan is the only one she ever "lent" from Other World and she had foreseen Goku's arrival and made it so Son-Gohan could be there. I imagine his status in Other World is somewhat similar to Goku's, so he must have gotten a day's pass.

People who die come back with their clothes on. Maybe they think that someone will bring them back someday, and if they're holding onto some acquired wealth, they can bring it with them.

That's kinda sad though. :(

I am going to have to reread the manga before I say I'm 100% certain about this, but I think Son-Gohan was the only one who was actually dead. The Mummy and Vampire were literally "undead", and the Invisible Man just had a strange ability (notice he had no halo, or you would have seen him when he was invisible). One thing though, is that there isn't actually a "Hell" in the manga, it's all filler, so Son Gohan getting to keep his body makes sense if he was truly pure of heart (so he would have been worthy of enlifghtenment). This is why all of the bad people automatically get reincarnated.

Super Saiyan among Super Saiyans

Well if anyone dies, I doubt they would have any Otherworld currency.

Anyway, as for Baba, I think he and she have a mutual understanding about what would be permissible
We Super Saiyans are in a league of our own.

Son Gohan was the only one who was dead :P
But Gohan says that Baba usually brings dead martial artists to fight for her.. So its assumable that Gohan isnt the only one, or the first one.

King yemmas power level is joke. Would the villains really need to bribe him? Can't they threaten him?

Maybe in filler, but in the manga a villain who dies has no body and hence no strength.
