As for me, I really enjoyed Goku's battle with Son Gohan, and it was just a pretty emotional chapter. When Goku discovered who it was, it was just a truly happy/sad moment, as we know Gohan had to leave.

Much heartwarming (ohohoho) to be had with that scene.

It's something that was refreshingly different from the rest of the series IMO.

It's a classic. It's a really emotional moment when he tears up screaming "...i won!", specially when you consider the fact he tought all of his friends couldn't be brought back to life. Another great moment is Vegeta's speech in the fight against Pure Boo. It's the moment i can say for sure that he became a 100% hero. Anything involving Boo and Mr. Satan was cool. I also really liked the way Gohan shined at the end of the Cell arc, even if i didn't like the arc itself very much. There's a lot others, but those are the first ones that spring to my mind.

When Goku senses and finds Krillin dead after he had been killed by Tambourine. Up until that point, the series had been lighthearted and fun, and it gave it something else. A new depth of feeling. In my opinion, the series changed with that moment. They knew they weren't invincible. It became more human.

Chrome Favourite Manga Elfen Lied, Black Lagoon, DBZ	Well I'll stay away from the obvious famous DBZ moments.. Goku surprises 19,20 with SSJ. (The good old days when SSJ was special >.>) Gohan punches Super Buu in the face for the first time. Vadel wont give up at the World Tournament. Goku introduces Gohan to fight Cell. 18 surprised by Vegeta fighting Cell. Piccolo informs 17 that Goku is stronger then him. Goku fully powers up for round 2 with Cell. (Frankly one of the most under appreciated power up scenes imo) Anything with Vegeta. "Theres one thing a Sayian always keeps, his Priiiiiide!!" Bruces music is a big part of the suspense of the older show. I have to say if it wasn't there I probably wouldn't feel half the connection. Something the new stuff lacks.
