Crazy Awesome Legend

Why does your title say Micheal Cera but the video says Jesse Eisenberg? Jesse Eisenberg is a pretty good actor. I can see it working with him.

That's not Micheal Cera. That's that dude from the Social Network.

...And this guy is incredibly annoying. I can't watch this video anymore.

I was really hoping that Bryan Cranston would play Lex Luthor. That was a rumor for a little while.

Edited the title to get the correct name.

It's an... interesting choice for sure. Not going to jump on the bash wagon now. People need to learn after Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker that unconventional casting choices in these kind of movies can end up working out very well. We don't know how he'll end up playing it so give him a chance.

Also this has overcast the news of Jeremy Irons playing Alfred, which is awesome.

It's part of that joke about how they both look and sound so damn similar.

I think they are going for a younger version of Lex Luthor, which might fit the movie better. Bryan Cranston, all respect to him, isn't exactly young.

That said, Eisenberg is a strange choice, but let's see how this pans out before criticizing.

Well, i guess he could do a good Luthor, but there's no way to know. A younger Luthor isn't that bad. Michael Rosenbaum did a good one in Smallville, one of the best performances in the series. The series was a bit of a mess some times, but he was good. I am still not over how Gal Gadot will be Wonder Woman. She's just not "amazonian" enough for me. Jeremy Irons as Alfred is, however, awesome.

I am still not sure how this film will turn out. They are taking to many previously unintroduced characters and cramming them in one movie. This is looking more like JLA prequel than Batman Vs. Superman. Time will tell us if this movie will be good or bad. We can only wait.

This isn't Rogue's dungeon. That stuff doesn't belong here.

Jeremy Irons as Alfred? That's an odd choice too.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

I just...no, why does he need to be so young when Clark is a grown man? I'm not sure what story they're going for with him but isn't he usually around the same age at least in looks?

I like Jesse Eisenberg as an actor he's funny and plays the awkward role very well and also sounds smart...but a rich and powerful business tycoon that's a threat to Superman? I don't think it makes much sense for him to be so young, showing his early years is fine but you couldn't go using Jesse as Lex's teen self and then a different actor as his adult self so this is...yeah really what...

Is Batman going to be beating him up? That just seems cruel.

Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot and Jesse Eisenberg.
Great if it works out but looking at those names and imagining them as their characters in a room together...no.

Henry Cavill and Jesse Eisenberg are actually the same age.

But can you tell? Jesse does not look 30 at all.

Compared to Henry he looks like some young typical nerd kind of guy.

not

Are they going with a bald Lex or what?

The main problem is Jessie looks far too nice. If he's going to be a main villain then what is he doing, wearing the big green krytonite suit to fight Superman?

I think Bryan but with a lot of make up to make him look younger definitely would have been better. With Breaking Bad's popularity imagine the hype the movie would get too, so far Justice League is definitely needing some better actors if it's going to contend with Avengers.

Personally I liked Kevin Spaceys portrayal of Lex the best in recent years he fit really well as the character shame they couldn't do him now.

Jesse Eisenberg doesn't have the "good-guy" look honestly. Neither does he have the "bad-guy" look. I think he might surprise you. He is a good actor, as evidenced by his role in The Social Network

I'm not saying that he's a bad actor or that he'll make the movie terrible, but would any of you even consider him if it was up to you? I doubt he was on anyone else's "Who should be the next Lex Luthor" list.

He just seems like an odd choice and with their casting for Wonder Woman it's kind of difficult to feel they put any kind of extra thought in to it than that.

Would be cool if we could be teased with some kind of scene featuring all the actors as their characters together to see how they blend together at least.

I didn't like the Social Network. I actually thought he, along with the whole movie was less than great.
