"Um, hey Bugs, are you sure you want to go through with this?" "Of course! What do I have to worry about?? Nobody can do a thing to me! I'll even give them a fighting chance... I'll play by their rules for the most part. I'll even let them smack me around a bit! But this fighting nonsense, they take it too seriously. Its like they can actually die!" "Um, bugs, they can die." "..... I'll play the good guy, ok?" "......ok." And with that, Bugs Bunny grabbed his paintbrush and paints his way to the Dragon Ball universe! This is Dragon Ball Bugz! |

Chapter one Its another peaceful day, five years after the great battle of Goku and Piccolo, of whom hasn't shown his face since. Goku is seen with Gohan on his nimbus, flying somewhere. Suddenly....... "N'yehhhhhhhhhh, what's up, doc??" Bugs Bunny appears before Goku. Goku immediately halts his nimbus. Goku: What the hell?? Who are you?? Get out of my way! Bugs Bunny: WAIT!! I'm Bugs Bunny, and I wanted to test you in battle! Bugs Bunny grins. Goku: Test me in battle?? Id love to! Gohan, I hope you don't mind. Gohan shakes his head, confirming Goku to land. Goku lands down on some steady ground underneath him. Bugs Bunny floats down as well. Goku: I see you can fly! You must have some power within you to be able to do that! Yet, I don't sense anything from you... its as if you aren't even alive... not a single trace of ki... Bugs Bunny: Yes, well there are reasons for that, though I'm not exactly comfortable discussing that... Goku: Very well, let's just fight right away! Goku assumes battle position. Bugs Bunny just stands cutely, with his hands clasped behind his back. Goku looks confused. Goku: That's how you're fighting?? -Elsewhere "Now, where is Kakarot??" Raditz is seen standing right outside his space pod. He presses a button on the scouter located on his left eye. He finds a power level of 334 and 322. He decides to head for the higher one, which belongs to Goku. He takes off, flying over the corpse of the farmer who had the courage to check out what happened. -Goku and Bugs Bugs:Yup, this is just fine!" Bugs keeps grinning, which seems to irk Goku a bit. Goku:You'll do best to take this seriously." Bugs: Yes, yes, now have at me! Goku charges at Bugs with great speed and force. Upon reaching Bugs, he throws a punch. Bugs casually lifts a finger and stops Goku's punch. Goku: Wh-what?? How did you- Bugs: Oh, this?? Its nothing! I just work out my fingers a bit! Simple! I bet you can do it too! Bugs throws a punch, sending Goku flying into a rock. Gohan: Daddy! Gohan runs to the rock where Goku flew into. Bugs's jaw falls to the ground. Bugs: I didn't mean to… Goku speeds out. Goku: Whoa! How did you do that?? Gohan: Daddy! You're ok! Bugs: Sorry, I didn't think that would affect you so much... Goku: Are you saying you were holding back?? Bugs: Y-yeah.... I'm failing at this "supressing" stuff... |

Chapter two "I'm getting close, whoever you are. I hope you're ready! But why is he moving like that?? Is he fighting someone??" Raditz checks his scouter. Raditz: No.... Im not picking up any high power levels besides him and that other one! I'll check that guy out later... I'm pretty sure my brother deserves to at least have the highest power on this pathetic planet... -Elsewhere "Who could this guy be??" Piccolo is shown, with a scared look on his face. Piccolo: I'm going to find out, and I'll prepare my special attack before I get to him! Hell never see it coming.... BAHAHAHA!!! Piccolo takes off, seemingly heading for someone. -Goku and Bugs Goku and Bugs continue where they left off. Goku: H-hey... someone is coming...." Bugs: Who?? Goku: I don't know, I've never sensed a power like this... so much, and dark too... Bugs: Interesting, so you can sense power and morality? Goku: Yes, but this isn't the time for idle chat... Raditz comes into Goku's view. Raditz: Haha, I was right! It is you, Kakarot! -Piccolo Piccolo is seen flying. Piccolo: I've got you now! Piccolo puts his index and middle fingers on his forehead. -Goku, Bugs, and Raditz They continue where they left off. Goku: Kakarot?? You definitely have the wrong guy, I've never been called that! Raditz: You're not fooling me with that hair! Its your fathers hair! Goku: My..... father's?? Bugs: geez, talk about family issues... |

Chapter 3 Piccolo is seen flying in an unknown area, with a lot of rocks and rubble around. Piccolo: Alright, just a couple more minutes, and I'll know who this guy is. Hey, wait a second, I sense another power level next to this guy! Its considerably high! Could it be?? Goku?? Piccolo stops. Piccolo:Oh great..... it has to be him... - The scene changes to where Goku, Bugs and Raditz are. *The trio is seen standing around amongst some random rocks. Raditz: Yeah, your father, Bardock! Goku: Where is he?? Is he with you here?? Raditz: That poor excuse of a man?? He died a long time ago, it was actually the day you got sent off to this planet if I recall correctly! That reminds me...... what gives?? You were supposed to destroy this wretched planet! What happened?? You just became friends with these weaklings or something?? Raditz smirks. Raditz: Heh, I'm getting distracted, I'm here for one reason, to take you with me! Raditz begins to walk proudly. Raditz: At least, that was the plan, but if you can't follow some simple orders, what good could you possibly be?? I noticed your low power level..... is this what being in cahoots with this scum makes you?? Goku:I'm the strongest guy on this planet, and I'm being called weak?? Then again, this guy has incredible battle power... Raditz focuses his attention on Bugs. Raditz: You must be one of these earthlings! Bugs laughs. Bugs: You would be quite mistaken! I'm most definitely not from this planet! Raditz's eyebrows raise, showing intrigue. Raditz: Oh?? And where would you be from?? Bugs puts on a smirk. Bugs: I don't feel like telling. Raditz now focuses all his attention on Bugs, turning his body to him. Raditz: Oh, so you have some attitude. Look, you would be best to show some respect to me, if you value your life, that is. Bugs now walks up to Raditz. Bugs: Is that so? Bugs begins to examine Raditz's muscles with his paws. Bugs: I can see you are strong, you're ripped! But, I think you're mostly talk. I'm not buying the intimidation. Raditz chuckles, and turns his focus back to Goku. Raditz: Kakarot, you would be best to shut this guy up, before I have to. Goku puts his head down shyly. Goku: That's not as easy as it seems... Raditz uncrosses his arms. Raditz: What are you saying?? This guy can put up a fight?? He's a rabbit, for crying out loud! Bugs puts on a serious face. Bugs: What's a rabbit to a monkey?? Don't think I didn't notice that tail you have wrapped around you. Raditz puts on an angry look, and raises and clenches his fist. Raditz: Are you saying you want to try me on?? Raditz suddenly starts to smile, then laugh. Raditz: Hah! Nice try, attempting to make me to lose my composure! Raditz presses a button on his scouter, and nothing shows up on the screen that would determine Bug's power level. Raditz shows a bit of concern on his face. Raditz: Something must be wrong with my scouter! I'm not picking up ANY power from you! Raditz shows wonder on his face. Raditz: could this have to do with his claim of not being from around here?? Suddenly, Raditz scouter shows a number, in some other language. Raditz shows serious concern on his face. Goku shows a look of fear as well. Raditz: WHAT?? Who is that?? The number is high, 1270! And its still rising?! Who the hell is that?? He's real close... Goku: I sense him too! You don't recognise that power?? Raditz: Nope! He's not with me! Piccolo comes into view, flying. Goku recognises Piccolo almost immediately. Goku: Its Piccolo! He's back for revenge I bet! How did he get so strong though?? Goku begins to chuckle. Goku: Then again, I guess I did slack in my training a bit... Piccolo lands amongst the crowd, his index and middle middle fingers placed on his forehead. There are sparks flying from them. He first focuses his attention on Goku. Piccolo: So it WAS you... Goku shows serious concern on his face. Out of reaction, Piccolo puts on a menacing smirk. Piccolo then turns his attention to Bugs. Piccolo: Odd.... I don't sense anything from that guy... Finally, Piccolo turns his attention on Raditz. Piccolo: And you! The reason I came here! Who are you?? Raditz sports a menacing smile. Raditz: Hmph, how rude! You intrude on us and start asking us questions! The nerve! You had best just walk away and- Piccolo points his sparky fingers at Raditz chest. Chapter 4 The three warriors and the rabbit are seen standing at a supposed battle site, judging by Piccolo's preparation to attack Raditz. Raditz: I wouldn't let you hit me with that! Raditz speeds behind Piccolo. He throws a punch, sending Piccolo flying. Goku looks with horror. Bugs is seen lazily picking his nose. Bugs: He is?? Raditz looks at Bugs barely paying attention, which angers him greatly. Raditz: Hey, you dumb rabbit! Pay attention! Raditz charges at Bugs. Goku: Bugs, watch out! Bugs just stands there. Bugs: Why? Bugs is now reading a newspaper, sitting while floating, as a genie would do. Raditz reaches Bugs and throws a punch at his face, but Bugs casually moves his head to the side to dodge it. Raditz puts on a shocked expression. Raditz: Wh-what? How did you do that?? Bugs puts down the newspaper. Bugs: Do what?? Raditz looks angry. He cocks his arm back and throws a ki blast at Bugs. Bugs jumps out of the way, and the ki blast hits the ground far away, making an explosion. Bugs appears behind Raditz. Bugs: It seems these guys can't stop you. That's my cue to step in. Raditz turns around quickly, with a worried look. Bugs disappears and reappears with boxing gloves. He takes a Bugs: N'yehhhhhhhh, put 'em up! Raditz puts his hand on his face and turns his nose up. Raditz: he can't be serious... Bugs throws a punch at Raditz's torso, sending him flying into a rock. Raditz gets up, but looks slightly injured. He holds his ribcage, and his armor has a slight crack in it. He has a look of fear in his eyes. Raditz: N-no way... who is this guy?? Bugs Bunny disappears and reappears, his gloves gone. Bugs: Is that all you have to offer?? You are pathetic. Raditz groans in fear and is now trembling. Raditz: P-please dont.... don't kill me..... Bugs: Why shouldn't I? You appear to be an enemy to these guys, so that means you're one to me. Give me a reason not to finish this. Raditz: I'll leave and never come back! Bugs Bunny crosses his arms. Bugs: Really? And why shouldn't I assume the moment I turn my back, you'll strike? I'm not stupid. Raditz gets down on his knees, resorting to begging. Raditz: I swear on my life! Bugs: Yeah, and if youre lying, I'll be the taker of yours. Fine, go on then! Bugs turns his back to Raditz. Piccolo speeds back to the scene. Raditz: Hah! You fell for it! Raditz charges at Piccolo. Bugs turns back around, and appears in front of Raditz before he could reach Piccolo. Raditz stops quickly. Raditz: Damnit! This guy is too fast! Bugs grins. Bugs: Thanks! He takes a very innocent looking pose. Raditz: Do you take anything seriously?? Bugs looks at Raditz. Bugs: No, not really! |

Haha, I like this. Bugs Bunny going into a DBZ universe around that time is awesome. I'm glad you picked that time in the series. A pretty cool and funny idea. |

Great story. If there's something i can say about a fic that puts Bugs Bunny in the DBZ world, is that it is creative. Keep up with the great work. I look forward to see more of it. Also, to see if you can do it til the end of DBZ. Edited by Topographic Oceans, Jan 22 2014, 08:38 PM.

Chapter 5 The four are still in battle. Bugs disappears and reappears with a baseball bat and a baseball. Bugs: Swing batter batter, swing! Bugs tosses the ball up and it goes out of view. Raditz lunges at him. Raditz: Stop playing around! Bugs appears behind Raditz and pushes him. The ball comes back into view and Bugs hits it. The ball smacks Raditz in the face. Raditz: Ouch! What the hell?? Bugs grins. Bugs: Home run! He runs into Raditz, knocking him to the ground. Raditz angrily pushes him off. Raditz: I... hate... you... Raditz slowly gets up. Bugs disappears, and reappears with a kung fu outfit. Bugs: Let's spar! Goku: This is the most odd battle I've ever watched... Piccolo is seen charging a Special Beam Cannon, his most powerful attack. Sparks begin to fly from his fingers. Piccolo: Perfect, keep him right there... I'll finish this... Raditz: Now you're a martial artist?? What aren't you?? Bugs grins. Bugs: Not a whole lot that I am not. See, now I'm rhyming! Raditz: I can't believe this guy... Piccolo extends his arm. Piccolo: Bingo... Raditz's scouter picks up the energy from Piccolo's attack. Raditz: Huh?? A power of 1430?? He turns to Piccolo. Piccolo fires the Special Beam Cannon at Raditz, catching him by surprise. It strikes him in the heart, killing him almost instantly. Bugs Bunny jumps upon seeing it happen. Bugs: BAH! What was all that about? Piccolo looks at Bugs and scoffs, a look of disgust on his face. He spits. Piccolo: I was ending this quickly... you're pathetic to watch in a fight. Bugs frowns. Bugs: Aww, that's not very nice. You're an enemy of Goku's too, correct? You had better be careful, I might go after you next! Piccolo shuts up, a look of anger on his face. Piccolo: Darn, with this rabbit around, I might have to play nice for a while... |

Chapter 6 -Post battle Piccolo: Well I've done what I've came to do, that's enough for me! Goku will come some other time! Piccolo then flies off. Goku: Well that's reassuring. Well Gohan, should we go to Master Roshi's then?? Bugs: Roshi? He's surpassed him, what could he possibly do there? Goku:Well Bugs, it was nice meeting you, strange as you are... Bugs:You're the monkey space boy who grew up in the woods... Hey, wait! Why not let me tag along?? I want to meet this "Master Roshi" that you speak of. Goku: Oh, well sure, why not?? You've proven yourself good enough for me! Let's go! Goku speeds off on his nimbus. Bugs: So easygoing... Bugs follows Goku. -Kame House "So Bulma, what brings you here?" Bulma, Master Roshi amd Krillin are seen inside. Bulma: Oh, I just wanted to pay some old friends a visit! I could never forget you guys... Master Roshi tries to perv up to Bulma, but she smacks him away. Bulma: This is why I don't come over often! You're a dirty old man... Master Roshi: I just wanted some sugar... Bulma: That's the problem! She walks away from him, and sits on his couch. Krillin: I wonder what Goku is doing... "I'm walking right in!" Krillin, Bulma, and Roshi look towards the doorway. Goku is seen standing at the doorway, with Gohan in his arms. Krillin, Bulma, Roshi: It's Goku! Goku: Hi! How's it going, guys?? Krillin runs up and hugs Goku. Krillin: Why do you never visit?! Goku: Well, I am now! Krillin: Hah! That's true, but you need to more often! Bulma walks over to Goku. Bulma: My, I can tell you haven't given up on martial arts! Goku: Nope, still going at it! Bulma: Not to change the subject, but who's the kid on your shoulder! Goku looks up at Gohan. Goku: Oh, this is Gohan, my son! Bulma, Krillin, Roshi: You have a son?! Chapter 7 Bulma, Krillin, Goku, Roshi, and Bugs are at Kame house, whom haven't seen each other in years! They are catching up on life. Bulma: So, what's his name? Goku: Gohan! Son Gohan! Roshi: You named him after your Grandfather? Goku: Well I'm starting to doubt all that Grandfather business… Roshi: What do you mean?? Goku puts his head down, as if in shame. Goku: … I don't think I'm from this planet. Roshi: Huh?? What are you talking about?? Goku raises his fist in anger, his head still down. Goku: This guy comes, who I think is from space! Roshi: Why is that?? Goku: Well, he was incredibly strong, and had this weird armor on! He said his name was Raditz, as odd of a name as that is… and he called me Kakarot! Bulma: Kakarot?? Weird… Goku: Yeah, and he also had this weird scouter on, and I think he tracked me with it, as he came right for me! But get this: He called me his brother! Krillin turns to Goku. Krillin, Bulma, Roshi: What?? Goku: Yeah! And he said there's no mistaking me, as I have my "father's" hair… Roshi: This is truly the most farfetched story I've heard in a while… Goku: Oh, one more thing: He had a tail! And so does my son! They avert their eyes to Gohan, who indeed has a tail. Krillin, Bulma, Roshi: Whoa! Just like you used to! Goku: Yeah, I'm truly a human, hehe! Roshi: No, I'm pretty sure you're not from here… So, how did you defeat him?? Goku: Well, thats just the thing… I didn't do a thing! This guy did it all! Goku points to Bugs. Roshi has a look of surprise. He walks over to Bugs. Roshi: You defeated someone with power that put fear into Goku?? You don't look like anything special… Bugs: You can't judge on appearance… Goku grins, putting his hand on his head. Goku: Yep, he's one tough rabbit! Hehe! Roshi: Well, if Goku says you are, there's no way you can't be. Goku: Well, it was nice seeing you all, but I should get back to Chi-Chi, she might start to worry if Gohan is gone too long! Roshi raises his brows. Roshi: Are you sure you don't want to stay for lunch?? Goku quickly changes his mind. Goku: Did you say lunch?? Id love some! Roshi: Hehe, a weakness of his... -Where Raditz's corpse lays… Raditz lays on the ground, a hole blasted through his chest where his heart would be. Some chatter is heard from his scouter. It appears it does more than scan power… Voice in scouter: Raditz?? Are you there?? What happened?? Another voice in scouter: If you ask me Nappa, someone killed him! Nappa's voice: But who could have the power to do that?? That planet is supposed to be full of weaklings! Nobody we noted came anywhere near his power! Other voice: It doesn't matter! Just because they defeated that pathetic Raditz doesn't mean they're a threat to us! Though I do want to make whoever it was pay for spilling the blood of my race… As being the son of the King, I feel its my duty to take vengeance… Nappa's voice: So you do want to go there, Vegeta?? Vegeta's voice: Yes, let's set a course in our pods. Its going to be a long trip though, about a year… Who could these two guys be? They appear to look down on Raditz, and probably are a great deal stronger as such. They are seeking vengeance, what will this mean for the people of Earth? Find out later, in Dragon Ball Bugz! |
