Naruto is restricted to only Sage Mode, so who wins?

Naruto has a good chance with sage mode only, so adding Jiraya is an unnecessary stomp.

if kabuto can drag out the battle longer than 5 minutes, he wins, because he can stay in sage mode indefinitely. i'm assuming, of course, that jiraiya doesn't have the toads to help him, since they weren't mentioned.

I believe Jiraiya needs Fukusaku and Shima to go in sennin modo, so I think they're supposed to be there. Correct me if I'm wrong, Saqer.

Anyways... pretty interesting matchup. I believe Genjutsu will come to play a big part in this, because the team have pretty much no way of hurting a much more agile Kabuto. He dodged Enton arrows, he's just that good. He can also heal himself from minor injuries thanks to Karin's DNA and can liquify himself to avoid damage. The only way Naruto and Jiraiya are winning this is through Magen: Gama Rinsho. Which takes some time to prep, and Kabuto can just overwhelm them in the meanwhile.

Kabuto takes this more times than not imo.

kabuto also has tayuya's (Sp?) genjutsu, and some crazy terrain manipulation.

Thinking about it now it doesn't have to be a stomp thread. I personally still think that Naruto and Jiraya have the advantage since they weren't as dependent as Saskue and Itachi on visual genjutsu. Naruto is a perfect toad sage, so having perfect dragon sage mode doesn't have any serious advantages for Kabuto. I think Naruto and Kabuto should be relatively even. If we throw in an independent variable like Kabuto having to capture Jiraya or Naruto to win, I'd tip in his favor.

I think Naruto and Jiraiya would take this one.

Yeah, Kabuto can liquify himself, but Rasenshuriken destroys things on a molecular level. Jiraiya would at least be enough of a handful to distract Kabuto in order to lineup a shot.

Even then, it doesn't seem to take Naruto long to create a Rasenshuriken, so they could overwhelm Kabuto and then use it on the area.

but if naruto misses with his rasenshuriken, that's half his sage chakra gone. and kabuto has both an extra pair of eyes to watch both opponents with his navel snake, and the other senses of a snake, such as smell and heat vision, so he's going to be pretty good at keeping track of two opponents at once. kabuto also has both earth style and his sage art to use the terrain to block attacks.

i'm not sure who will win, here, but it's definitely not going to be an easy battle either way.

Naruto's Rasenshuriken has been tanked already though--and Suigetsu's liquifation has already survived something much stronger, the Gyuki' Bijudama.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

I think Kabuto would take this we saw him battling in a limited fashion he wanted to get Itachi back under his control and it didn't really seem like he wanted to kill Sasuke either.

He would probably try f*** with Naruto's head a bit but any time wasted is time his opponents need.
As for the Toad Sages I would say keep them there but only as a means for Jiraiya to use SM not for backup, seemed as though he can use his either indefinitely or for much longer with them but obviously his is slightly weaker.

Anyway I give this to Kabuto he has too many techniques under his belt. Restriction Edo Tensei because obviously not fair he still has Manda II who stomps any toad summons and would not be easily beat by...anything, he would need something like a Rasenshuriken hit to be defeated.
I think if you give Naruto a backup Sage Clone then they might have a chance but otherwise not, Kabuto would want to kill Jiraiya as he'd be perceived as a much greater threat.

Also Naruto is stupid and would have no intel here what so ever if Jiraiya was taken out before explaining stuff he figured out Naruto would be done for.

Rasenshuriken would probably kill Kabuto unless he used Orochimaru's...technique, whatever it's called to come out of a different part of his body but Kabuto could just make the ground sink beneath his feet and put Naruto's aim way off.

Did Jiraiya have sensing like Naruto? Just thought of that, it doesn't seem like he did anyway so he would be vulnerable to attacks from underground.
Didn't sense Pain coming to take his arm off and had to use a barrier to sense the chameleon thing, either his sense is nowhere near as good or he doesn't have it.
