I once gave a Kangaroo a heart-attack just by staring at it

So, in a bid to see what Peter Capaldi (the new Doctor in Doctor Who) is like as an actor, I started watching The Thick Of It.

It's about a group of people in the British Government who answer to Malcolm Tucker (Capaldi) who is the Minister for Communications.

It's a comedy series, and it's absolutely hilarious.

Has anybody seen it?

Crazy Awesome Legend

I loved it. I thought it was one of the greatest political satires of all time. The writing was phenomenal and so were the performances.

Yeah, I think the series has been amazing so far. I'm only halfway through series 2, though, but it's really witty and well-written.

Master o' War

I can't think of his name (maybe Jamie?) but the banter between Malcom and the other scottish guy is freaking stellar. "I mean what's your favourite band? Blink 182?" So utterly spot on! And then that other time when the guy goes in to question the woman who turns out to be a gambler, Malcom said something like "he's like a bloodhound." Really good stuff! I just can't bring myself to finish the series, though. I stopped about halfway through season 3....
