Right, so in my rewatch, I've just finished the Otherworld tournament. Now before its mentioned, yes, I am fully aware it is not canon. The prize of winning the tournament or 10,000 years training is a personal lesson with Grand Kai. My question is, what could Grand Kai have possibly taught Goku or Pikkon? A technique? A session that drastically increases powe level? I've never been one to be able to calculate power levels, but surely Grand Kai does not surpass Goku and Pikkon. I believe that King Kais power level is really low, like 1,000 something, so it's safe to assume that West,East and South Kai are all around this. So surely Grand Kai can't be that much higher?

Anyway, what do you think the fabled training would consist of? I like to imagine a crazy power up like Grand-Kaioken or something.

Also what power level would you put Grand Kai at?

Dai-Kaio said he was incapable of keeping up with Paikuhan and Goku. He wouldn't have been able to teach them anything.

He wouldn't be able to make them more powerful, but he may have some cool techniques to teach them. If north Kaio could teach Kaioken and the Genki Dama, perhaps the Grand Kaio would have some useful techniques of his own.

I would put him at maybe Semi-perfect Cell level, or android level. But one thing you got to remember, the people who trained Goku became weaker than him pretty fast, so i dont think it matters how strong they are, as long as they are at a certain level and are good at teaching

I honestly think whatever power gap is between the trainer and the trainee(s) really doesn't matter, especially if they're getting taught Kaio-like techniques which I'm willing to go with that over anything else.

I'd go with something like Grand Kaio-ken or something that may give them a boost or a temporary boost in power. As for making them stronger by just sparring and all of that kinda stuff? Nah, I can't see it, especially because of how rusty Grand Kaio was supposed to be.

All the Kai's got something to teach. I'm sure Grand Kai would have some nice techniques he could teach Goku and Pikkon.

The resident GT fan!

He wouldn't teach them anything at all, unless he had some sort of special tecknique but if there's no proof then we can't just assume :) .
