I doubt it, from what I understand the manga is right at the start of an arc so they'd have to make up everything and I doubt the anime team are as good writers as Togashi. I guess they might try a filler arc but so far I don't think there's been any notable filler just extra flashbacks and stuff to extend it not whole episodes or at least not many, so I think they'd only try an arc if they were desperate. Or perhaps if towards where the manga is Togashi starts drawing again they might do filler so that they can keep it going. Personally I'd like to see what they do with filler but...hmm, filler. I'd say they did a decent job with the movie(though based on something Togashi wrote...) I'll base my opinion on their filler after seeing The Last Mission.

Chrome Favourite Manga Hunter x Hunter	Eh, i'd prefer they take a break until there is more material. I mean they still have the whole Alluka arc to work with which could go for a fair while. Hopefully by then he'll come back. But let's me honest, judging by the past 3 (?) hiatuses i've been through it'll just be a few chapters here and there and then just as you get into it again he'll stop :P

He's a very good writer but his art is typically meh and it stresses him out to do weekly releases apparently, Yu Yu Hakusho was hard on him(probably why the ending is so rushed) Just give the anime team a months worth of script each month and relax, they've done a fantastic job adapting it so far. It's a little annoying that he doesn't even try for his fans but whatever at least the Chimera Ant arc is done.

I think if he came back to the manga now and was still being inconsistent people would probably just be pissed off.

In 2013 the series sold 4,000,000+ volumes even though there wasn't a single new chapter released last year and only 2 new volumes were released. At this stage we're past the point where the Anime would be inflating sales (usually only applies in the first year it runs) so that proves that it still has the selling power. It had those figures before the 2011 Anime started as well: http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=273972 (in 2010 it's only volume pulled 950,000 sales). Most fans are used to his constant hiatuses anyway. The Ant Arc took seven years to complete and people still bought the volumes and made the series money anyway, and that was when he was releasing only 10 chapters a time before going on hiatus again. From what i understand, drawing the manga/anime is whats time consuming, and i assume that this is the reason why hes so lazy..

Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Berserk all day erry day	Yeah I don't think anyone would cry if it wasn't Togashi actually drawing it, so long as they didn't go ruining character designs. I'll read it when the anime stops but I don't much care for the manga in comparison. Just can't beat Hisoka's voice, the Zoldyck theme and the sound effects in it. Not that Hisoka has been in it much lately, disappoint. Anyway the anime is a lot more likely to bring new fans it probably accounts for a lot of the sales really, including the old anime that is...but does Togashi even give a s***? Well that question is answered...
