3 yearold girl dies from brain damage after dental procedure

A three year old girl dies of brain damage from root canal surgery. I don't understand why a 3 three year old would need a root canal when she still had baby teeth. I feel like the dentist was not properly educated but I don't know much about teeth. I think the dentist was wrong for doing so much surgery on a 3 year old and shouldn't have been necessary. What do you guys think?

"Gentlemen, you can't fight in here! This is the war room!"

Why was this not publicized, but the botched tonsillectomy for 13 year old Jahi McMath was?

That's the other thread that Tommy Pickles was thinking of.

Yeah it is similar issue to the 13 year old girl but its a different story and situation. I found out just by going on abc news but I think this is being brought up because the one about the 13 year old was really such a big deal and this one is similar. This definitely doesn't help out my fear of going to the dentist

This was obviously done because of negligence. There's absolutely no need for a 3 year old to have "several root canals".

I'm calling bill inflation from the dentist's office on this one.
