I would like to point out that Gohan picks Goten to be his sparring partner over Piccolo even before learning that Goten is a SSjin. Thats because Goten was also entering the tournament and needed training. They were also decently close in power. Well thats just the point, they are similar in power. He's been training with Piccolo all his life, still chooses Goten.

Posts: 1,173 Group: Member Member #10,454 Joined: November 6, 2013	Personally, i find it ridiculous that Goku would be more than 50x stronger than Piccolo during the Cell Games.. Piccolo makes huge gains, maybe even more than the saiyans, the only thing the saiyans got is to transform.. That would imply that Piccolo reaches less than 1% of Perfect Cells power, which is false as we see him fighting the Cell jrs at a level slightly below Trunks and Vegeta. So Piccolo is maybe at 15-20% of Cells Power, thats 30-40% of Gokus power. Vegeta would still have more than 1.2x power than Piccolo.. So Piccolo is slightly under Vegeta, We can all assume that it stayed that way during the 7 year break, Vegeta might have increased the gap a bit aswell, given as Vegeta would have trained to beat Goku while Piccolo would simply train.. But in NO way did Piccolo go from 1.2x between him and Vegeta and 2.5x Between him and Goku Turn into more than a 50x.. That would mean that Piccolo got a s* load weaker, much more weaker than Gohan got... There is simply no way that Piccolo is weaker than Base Saiyans, take whatever sentence you want from the manga, interpret it in a way that makes Piccolo weaker.. Dabura taking down Piccolo and Krillin, Kaioshin not talking about Piccolos power, Gohan asking Goten for training.. whatever you want.. Do the numbers, the numbers almost ALL of you agree with, the numbers in the Cell games, the gains they made AFTER the Cell Games.. There is no way Piccolo is weaker. Just because I can, i will throw some Numbers Cell Games: Trunks = 0.46 Vegeta = 0.5 Goku = 1 Gohan = 1.4 Piccolo = 18 SSJ Trunks = 23 SSJ Vegeta = 25 SSJ Goku = 50 SSJ Gohan = 70 Cell = 100 SSJ 2 Gohan = 140 SPC = 140 Buu Saga: Vegeta = 1.4 Goku = 2.8 Gohan = 1.2 Piccolo 50 SSJ Vegeta = 70 SSJ Goku = 140 SSJ Gohan = 60 SSJ 2 Vegeta = 140 (ridiculous, I hate Akira Toriyama for this) SSJ 2 Goku = 360 Majin Vegeta = 360 Ive been in this forum enough, most of you agreed with this or something similar with this, NO one which ive seen, has said anywhere that Piccolo is weaker than Base Saiyans (when it comes to the numbers that is) Edited by Hearts**, Jan 2 2014, 07:29 PM.

Cell Jrs would have absolutely demolished everybody if they were to ever go serious. They never got the chance to. As for Piccolo and Base Saiyans... Due to recent statements from AT himself, I am inclined to believe Piccolo is indeed stronger, and probably by a long mile. It was never established if Piccolo withdrew from his fight with Kaioshin, it being either power or just status.

Of course he'd use the opportunity. He was ahead of the Super Saiyans beforehand so it wasn't out of the question to get to their level again. But that clearly didn't happen. Gangnam saiyan.
