Raditz power level?; 1200 or 1500?

In terms of only power, the difference between Raditz and a Saibaiman is close enough to be considered "rivaling." HOWEVER, despite having a power level practically identical to Raditz's, as an Earth-trained martial artist Yamcha has some more impressive fighting skills and abilities compared to an average Saiyan space-thug (things like ki-sensing and amplification) that allowed him to net a relatively easy win over the Saibaiman he fought (preceding self-destruction shenanigans, anyway).

1200 VS 1500 only in power = rivaling.
1200 VS 1500 with large skill/ability difference = smackdown.

Do I need to insert a trademark "it's not all just about power gaps" quip here, or is it already well-enough implied?

Raditz - 1
Farmer - 1.2
Goku - 1.2

Raditz and Farmer would seem more evenly matched, while Goku and Raditz would seem like Goku was taking Raditz to the laundromat.

It is implied that Yamcha was confident to take on all Saibamans one on one by himself. There is nothing that shows Saibaman being able to make Yamcha sweat H2H. I would love to put Raditz at 1,500 , but I don't see it judging by Yamcha's performances.

Rivaling does not mean being brought to the brink of death by a single beam.

The Saibamen was able to somewhat keep up with a toying Yamcha, much like how Vegeta looked to be able to block some of Recoome's hits. The instant Yamcha and Recoome got serious though, the Saibamen and Vegeta were done.

Does this mean that Freeza has an ungodly level of skill? Because he was keeping up with SSJ Goku rather well. The Freeza fan in me is pleased that Freeza is a greatly skilled fighter ^_^

Basically what I was saying. We are talking about PL strictly here, not how the fight transpired.

The way I see it, Yamcha was killed by a suicide Saibamen.

Gaps not that close.
