A is the larger power level and B is the smaller one. Examples: Fusion Dance Goten: 42,000,000 Trunks: 44,000,000 Gotenks: 42,000,000 + 42,000,000 = 84,000,000 x 5 = 420,000,000 Potara Earrings Kaioshin: 2,000,000,000 Kibito: 56,000,000 Kibitoshin: 2,000,000,000 x 100/(2,000,000,000/56,000,000) -> 2,000,000,000 x 2.8 = 5,600,000,000

Chrome	i know Vegetto is at 1 quintillion( im not gonna explain that) i know Goku and vegeta are 1bilion so 1 bilion x2 is 2 billion x1000 equals vegeto this applies to all Goten and trunks are at 250m each x2 500m x 1000 is Gotenks (POST) 500,000,000,000 so

Let me explain why thats incredibly stupid when you do the numbers :P A while ago i made a topic trying to find a way to prove that End of Z Goku in base is weaker than Frieza.. The lowest i got to was 250 million So if we say that Goku had 250 million in powerlevel in Buu saga then Vegeta had the same amount (as they were equal post Majin) 250,000,000 * 250,000,000 = 62,500,000,000,000,000 That is 62 quadrillion in powerlevel in base form, that would make Base Vegetto the strongest being ever being created in Dragon Ball, both the past of Dragon Ball and the Future of it... BY FAR So Kaioshin + Kibito potara fusion would be strong enough to poke Buuhan to death.. Thats why people go with the (A + B) * 5 soloutions.. they are more managable but personally.. (A+B) * 5 is too low if people are going to put Gotenks at 500x Goku.. Edited by Hearts, Dec 29 2013, 07:38 PM.

Chrome Favourite Manga One Punch Man	"Stronger than the sum of the parts." That's what the manga tells us, and anything more than that is just guessing. The guidebooks say that Potara Fusion is a better method, and "more like" multiplication of some sort than closer to addition like the Fusion Dance is. Like I said in the "your multipliers" thread, my formula for any Fusion is "(A+B)xPlot." There is a theory about Potara Fusion that I like, though, and I'm pretty sure I've mentioned it before. The idea is that while the two fusing individuals being similar in power/body/etc isn't necessary for the Potara like it is for the dance, it still yields a better Fusion the more similar the two are. Hence Vegetto is pretty much the ultimate Fusion because Goku and Vegeta are super-similar if not identical in most ways, while other potential Potara Fusions (Goku & Gohan, Kaioshin & Kibito, Goku & Dende/Satan) would have stark dissimilarities and not be optimal.
