And many of those who do think it's kiddy and trite. And without Super Saiyans, SUPASAIYAN THREE SWAG, and BROLY OMGZ!!!!1!!!, they have no intention of ever seeing it. So it's an automatic fantastic that people would disagree since they're ignorant to the awesomeness that is Dragon Ball. I ment the ppl that have watched db and dbz obviously ppl who havnt seen db will like dbz more. and those that have seen both tend to like z more.

A lot of humor and light-hearted mood. Dragon Ball Z: 300 episodes of adult Gokuu and his friends who basically battle strong foes and face difficult situations. DBZ is more action-packed, and revolves more around fighting than the actual Dragon Balls themselves (though, most of the fuss is actually caused by them). DBZ is the most popular piece of the general Dragon Ball franchise. Dragon Ball Kai: This is just a short remake of Dragon Ball Z into modern effects, better quality etc. Dragon Ball GT: It follows the story of DBZ which has Gokuu as a little kid again who basically fights his way through saving the planet a dozen times. Manga / Comic series: Dragon Ball: It's what the Anime is based from and is composed of 520 chapters / 42 volumes. It follows the story of Gokuu as a kid up to his final journey as an adult. In other words, it is the story of the Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z anime. It was first written in 1985 all the way up to 1995 by Akira Toriyama.
