His tone still sounds more like he had no idea Freeza was so powerful, not a power he feels confident in fighting on his own, at least. Chapter: 294 (DBZ 100), P2.2 Piccolo: “I feel an outrageously large ki far away…! Is th-this the monster called Freeza…!? There’s three huge ki close by…! That must be Gohan and the others…!” Chapter: 294 (DBZ 100), P14.1 Context: as Freeza powers up Piccolo: “That large ki has become even more absurdly large! Is this ‘Freeza’ finally starting to move?!” That aside, Piccolo flatout admits he's not as strong as Freeza when talking to Nail, so your initial 800,000 was incredibly off. Chapter: 295 (DBZ 101), P1.4, P2.1-5, P3.1 Nail: “I-I’m astonished…I don’t know what kind of training you’ve done, but you’ve acquired unbelievable power…Still, it’s unfortunate…If you had only returned to the original, single Namekian you were, you might have been able to defeat even Freeza…” Piccolo: “Are you saying that if I merged with God once again, my power would even surpass Freeza!?” Nail: “Th-that’s right…I was overwhelmingly defeated by Freeza, but I should have a good comprehension of his abilities…[ ] So merge with me…! I’m also the only fighting-type Namekian on this planet…[ ] That’s right…Your power will become many times greater…” Piccolo: “…You’re not lying, are you?” Nail: “If you think so, you can just go get killed by Freeza…” Nail made Piccolo many times greater, while Kami could've only made him about twice as strong. Piccolo when he arrived at Namek wasn't much from me, I have him at 200.000 range at most but not above that there's no reason to anyway, but he still completly beats Nail no problem

I don't think that Nail ever said such a think,at least in the manga I'm holding in my hands right now,that's what he says: DBZ Volume9(25) Chapter 101-The Assimilation Context: After Nail says to Piccolo he could perhaps take Frieza as one being Piccolo: "Are you telling me...if I become one with Kami again,then I could even surpass that bastard Friezas power?!" Nail: Yes...I was...utterly crushed by him....but I think I understand his capabilities... Piccolo: Well, there's nothing I can do now! And I have no desire to become one with that fool again! Nail: Then...assimilate me! I am this planets...only warrior namekian....

Posts: 790 Group: Member Member #5,932 Joined: March 30, 2011	At that point Piccolo was making awesome power gains, almost on the level of Goku. Goku went from around 400 to 8,000 with King Kai. I believe Piccolo achieved a lot with the time he had. Even though it's not canon, I do believe Tien, Yamcha, and Chaoitzu got good enough to take on the Ginyu force. So that's: Chaoitzu: 10,000 Yamcha: 38,000 Tien: 45,000 By that point I think Piccolo would have been good enough to take on Goku during his arrival at Namek. So I'd say Piccolo was around 100,000 at that point. As ridiculous as it was at the time I think he got a 10x multiplyer with Nail, giving him a max power of 1,400,000 vs Frieza, whose 2nd form was 1,250,000, and third was 2,000,000. So by that point he would trash Nail. As far as Kami goes, I think the multi he got was less than Nail. Kami's PL was insignificant, while Nail's was very significant to Piccolo. Fusing with Kami gave him back his more powerful half for a 2.5x multiplier.
