It's pretty clear that Toei was implying Cell and Freeza had powered up over the years. They even state as much.

Episode 43
Time: around 3m25s
Context: after Goku says that his body may be small but what's inside him is awesome
Freeza: "So then, how about you show us what is so 'awesome' about you?"
*Freeza powers up*
Cell: "You'd better not think that you're the only one who has powered up."
*Cell powers up*

They stayed back in Hell to fight Goku while guys like Rild were sent to Earth. At the very least they should be stronger than Good Boo, if that's the Boo Goku was referring to in comparison to Rild.

If you haven't noticed, Dragonball Online follows DBZ and completely ignores Gt. Also even the author of DBZ decided that Gt is a side story, not a sequel.

Btw, the DBZ movies are not comparable to this since some of them(1, 5, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13) can actually fit in within the Z timeline.

It's a continuation of the story regardless. DBO is just as much a sequel to Z as GT is, since neither are canon.

Darth Pyrus is right, whether or not GT is considered a canon or not doesn't really matter, But it was definitely INTENDED to be a sequel to Z, Proof? They had multiple flash backs in GT from Z, and had muiltple conversations about the past referring to events in Z and GT more or less picks up where Z left off.

If GT wasn't meant to be a sequel, then what in the blue hell was it?

That came after Z with everything involved?

It's a side story in that it isn't a true continuation of the events Toriyama created because, well, Toriyama left basically everything to Toei and didn't pen much of anything. It's still a sequel as much as DBO is. Battle of Gods, on the other hand, is a true sequel to DB given all of Toriyama's involvement.

You can swear, but it gets censored automatically. Like this, s***

Anyway, yeah, GT does bloat power levels but the fact that Rilldo, who is stronger than Buu was considered weaker than Frieza is telling.

By your logic, Base Vegeta is stronger than Buu? No

GT Frieza>Rilldo>Buu(unspecified)

At best, Frieza smashes Buuhan, at worst, he curb-stomps SSJ2 Gohan Cell Games

And f*** you.
I'm not gonna report you now, because its obvious you want to believe what you want and I don't mind insults like that ,:) ,I think that you just don't understand a think here but I'm okay just roll with what you think, and no offence to you or the forum rules, but you should not try to think you're opinion is above everyone's,when amazing power gains and statements happen in the show
I'm gonna leave this here, sorry for the mess everyone :)

And Pyro, that could be something I accept. BARELY. It just doesn't make ANY sense, even for GT. Why would they just let the bad guys train and get stronger and stronger?
Who knows. It still happened and there's no getting around it.

Freeza is stronger than Good Boo at worst. That's GT for ya and if ya can't accept that then don't go into GT Versus threads. That goes for anyone who has a problem with it.
