I really don't like how in the first broly movie, Goku beats him in one stomach punch.

Would it be cool if there was an epic fight that lasted a while, for the ending was way too short.

Well yeah definently it would be better to make it a 9 minute fight in my opinion, everything above that would be to much and mean that their powers are wayy to equal, thus even more time, plus more than 9 minutes is kindly unesesary we already had a lot of action and fight before so I'll stick with the 9-10 minutes at most

However plot wise its not possible sadly the planet was about to get destroyed so Goku had to finish Broly off quickly, the plot of the movie didint really had much choise :)

Well that is a good point, but it could be like frieza saga.

Frieza said only 5 minutes till namek blows up, but it took a lot more than 5 minutes

So an epic fight of 10-11 minutes would be satisfying.

Well I would like to ignore this little foolish think, and I think 10 minutes of awesomeness would be enough for a great ending of the movie ^_^

The "fight" had already dragged on long enough. I think it was better to have a sequence where Goku spends time taking hits to bide time while he gets energy from everyone else. Then when he's got enough, he unleashes it all at once. Heck, the energy probably wouldn't last long enough for an extended fight.

I agree with Kaboom. The battle seemed like it was going on forever. Having another battle that would act as the ending fight would just drag it out too long.

Super Saiyan among Super Saiyans

It would've been great if the spirit-infused Goku fought Broly like how KKx3 Goku fought Vegeta in the Saiyan saga.

After that intense and long beating, it does seem rather anticlimatic and too convenient to end it with one punch
We Super Saiyans are in a league of our own.

Yeah my thoughts SuperSaiyan 1993 thanks ^_^
Although the ending should, not be that much,I think been a few seconds fight doesn't fit well

Every movie ends with a deus ex-machina esque ending so I don't have any beef with M8's ending.

Like Cooler's Revenge before it, the beginning and middle are good.

But because it's DBZ, it can't be a "what if" kinda thing, and have Goku loose WHEN HE SO SHOULD HAVE f***ING DIED!

The writers pull the most ridiculous endings out of their asses just so Goku can win and the fanboys don't get their panties in a bunch.

Agree with everything that's been said, even the contradictory posts.

Goku should have released all that energy in one strike, that would've made the most sense. I would have loved to have seen a real fight. Someone mentioned KKx3 vs Vegeta? Would've been even better, but, by that point most fights were already becoming energy fests and looping 2 opponents punching and dodging at lightning speeds so I doubt they would have done that.

Think of it as how a Saiyan's entire outfit can change if they go Super Saiyan.

So....His shoes are Super Saiyan 4?
