Tapion's power

Of course Goku said that he felt an incredible chi when Tapion was released from the music box - but Goku could have been sensing Hirudegarn's chi instead. Personally, I think this: Base Goku ( Boo arc) >> Papoye > Tapion Papoye was stated to be the strongest warrior in the South Galaxy and he was afraid of Goku when he saw Goku doing his weight lifting training. Tapion should at least be weaker than Papoye. That's a start for Tapion's level of power but not much.

Seriously though, I wish he could have popped up in GT, he was one of the better movie characters. Anyway, I haven't seen movie 13 in a few years now, but I'd put him close to base level Gotenks, based on the fact that Tapion was able to hold his own against Hirudegarn (but not defeat him) just as Gotenks was. That's just a wild guess though, even SSJ3 Goku cheated with the Dragon Fist attack to beat him, so who knows.

Sadly we don't get to see him fight and nothing indicates he's strong. But that doesn't mean he's weak. I think it's impossible to say how strong he is

Though in this case it was stated that the Ocarina were weakening Hirudengard and that even the sword had special properties.

It depends, for they reallly didn't show a fight between that monster and tapion

For Tapion to even come close to their power would make him a SSJ-SSJ2 Post RoSaT Gotenks tier character. I don't see him being that high so I believe he's well below the Base Saiyans.
