Wouldn't SS4 be a useless form then? Since Goku is stronger, than Vegito? He would be stronger than a SS4 at the start of GT.. Okay my head hurts..

Goku didn't surpass Vegetto until he had SSJ4. Vegetto was only stated to be in the same realm of power as an SSJ4 in some silly guidebook, whereas in GT the first transformation of Baby is implied to be stronger than Vegetto with SSJ4 Goku much stronger than that.

Vegetto wasn't surpassed until Baby Vegeta transformed into his second form.

SSJ4 surpasses Vegetto level of power even more than that.

Super Vegetto being stronger than a Super Saiyan 4 doesn't devalue the form. Just stop and think about it for a sec. Goku with now on-par with the single strongest being in DBZ by a huge stretch... with "only" a new transformation.

No, comparing Super Saiyan 4 to Super Vegetto actually emphasizes how crazy strong the form is. The citation in the GT Special Anime Comic's purpose was to talk about how strong Vegetto was, but it goes both ways.

But people don't like that idea, and they'll keep believing in the same old flawed interpretation of that one GT line because they're allergic to guidebooks or something.

Well, they said he MIGHT. Lol. SSj3 Kid Goku was already very very very close to SSJ Vegito. I have Baby Saga Goku weaker then Buuhan sadly, but Shadow Dragon and S17 him above Buuhan alot. So, SSJ4 Goku>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>...SSJ Vegito

That's not very nice.

The truth isn't always comfy.

While I try to be accepting and let people have their own opinions, it's the reasons behind those opinions that can get to me. Going "lol silly guidebook" because you've drawn and gotten accustomed to some hyperbolic conclusion about one nearly-worthless line is... well, dumb.

Of course, but the coin can always be flipped on its side. Guy could come in here yammering about people hugging Vegetto's nuts and having a distaste for GT being the reasons behind such embrace of the guidebook and interpretation of said line.

It's not like you've got a hard-on for Vegetto or anything, but that always seems to be the way I phrase that sort of thing...

Well I don't think they are actually silly but I think they have a lot of mistakes on them like LSSj Broly been on Gogetas 50% SSj level or something ^_^

The guide books are useless unless you think Nappa was at 4,000, Gohan was killed by Recoome, Piccolo is at 3,500, and Kibito being equal to Gohan

The thing about Recoome killing <whoever> was an old mistranslation on part of the Kanzentai guys. The guidebook actually just says it was intended to kill <whoever>.

The other three things you mentioned are perfectly valid.

Actually Piccolo can't be at 3.500 considering he's Masenko was 2.800 and was the first think that supposed the saiyans and Kinito is not equal to Gohan <_<

besides its impossible for anime vegito to be equal to a ssj4 goku seeing as how GT follows the anime

Anime ssj vegito was shown somewhat struggling with buuhan

Also in the anime Kid buu is the strongest buu and ssj3 goku was fighting with him so the chain would be ssj3 Goku>Kid buu>SSJ Vegito(suppressed)>buuhan

so yes the guidebook makes no sense in this situation
