Peak and Lazy Hiromu (FMA) >> Peak Toriyama (DB) >> Togashi (YYH) >> Peak Kubo (Bleach) >> Togashi (HxH) > Kishimoto (Naruto) > Lazy Toriyama >> Lazy Kubo >>>>>> Lazy Togashi (HxH) >>>>>>>>> massiveeeeeeeeeee doo doo > Oda (One Piece) Togashi's laziness is bringing him down from the list of great Mangaka IMO. Togashi's manga aren't riddled with inconsistencies. He's better than Kubo and Toriyama, the latter two are just better at art (though Togashi's generally sucks because he's lazy as all hell). Kubo and Toriyama never took huge hiatuses like Togashi does but they still managed to screw up their series' continuity at some points. Togashi's merely guilty of a couple of asspulls as far as I can remember. Toriyama's characters were generally flat, and if they weren't they were generally sidelined soon enough anyways. Kubo eventually kind of became guilty of the same-ish thing. Togashi's laziness is a detractor, sure, but he's a far better writer than those other two. He's also a competent enough artist, he's simply...lazy. I guess "Lazy Togashi" being low on the list isn't a big deal, but otherwise there's no reason for him to be below Toriyama or Kubo. And I can't confirm as I'm not caught up, but is One Piece not one of the most consistent series out there? Someone else confirm if it's true. I've always seen it praised as such, and considering the ridiculous length (way longer than the other ones you mentioned) that at least makes Oda a better writer than "massive doo doo." Least we agree with Hiromu on top. Throw Hiro Mashima on the bottom. Dude epitomizes lazy storytelling. |

I'm not lying. My opinion. Also, put Hiro Mashima on the bottom of the bottom, and Hajime Isayama more towards the top. |

If this is just ranking people, then I guess I wouldn't mind it too much (although it's still bizarre), but if you're saying these are the greatest mangaka in order, you clearly don't read enough manga. |

Pretty sure he's only ranking those people on that list. I still disagree with this one, but whatever.

atcually if u go on long hiatus it could go either way u could A forget bit by bit what u wrote and catch ur selve up and make some mistakes or B since ur taking a break there is no pressure to release so many chapters and can properly think out and write good manga and i believe togashi has done a combination of both yes one piece is consistent, oda puts a lot of text and images and hardwork in his manga some say even too much art and text and no hes not the worst on the list |

I'm not sure how non lazy Togashi gets beat by non lazy Kubo... Even when Kubo isn't being lazy Bleach mostly sucks, it's just tolerable levels of suck. |

Bleach has been pretty solid at times, but most times it sucked. One Piece has been solid the entire way through. |

One Piece had a very weak start, not awful by any means but weak. Bleach, though, had like 2 passable arcs and everything after was slow-paced, monotonous blegh that all culminated into something like the stuff I find in school bathrooms - messy and cringe-worthy (we all kno dat FKT arc). And then it still got worse, so much that Kubo alienated the Japanese who're cool with a lot of crap. |
