	list of canon sources: the DB manga, and the Dr. Slump manga as it applies to the crossover during the rra saga. list of non canon sources: everything else, regardless of origin, format, or quality. for those that blindly follow word of god

Maybe BoG is not your definition of the word "canon", but it is part of the original story, and that's what matters. Part of the manga or not, it's a continuation of the original concept behind the creation of DB. Besides, the word "canon" comes from the Greek word which means "proper", "genuine". I may be wrong though.

They're around the same age and stature as Goku was at the start of the series. Seems more like an effort of staying truer to the original material than contradicting it.
