Here's the little that I know.

I know you should take a lot of water with it because it can mess you up if you don't. And be careful about taking it concerning drug screening because I know some, if not all, can show up on those as well. You don't want to get in trouble for something like that when all you were trying to do is get big.

But I think all Creatine does is bulk your muscles. I don't think you get much stronger from it. Protein is what makes you bigger and stronger if you take it right and workout right. Creatine is more of a show - but that's what I've always been told and understood.

Yeah that's what I've been reading too. Within the first week of taking e supplement you can gain around 2-5 pounds of pure water. The Creatine gives this effect. But from what I understand, taking it allows your muscles to work harder, and pump more reps and sets. I think I'm going to stick with protein personally.

I think its better that you do. Its always better to stick with natural things. Though I know nothing about creatine but I believe its best to do it normally.

Yeah, I think you're right about it giving your muscles more drive to workout. But I do think Protein is more worth it in the long run.

See the thing is, I'm not really interested in using it for a long term effect, but more the short term weight gain that it gives you. I'd gain those 2-5 pounds and then keep going naturally from there. I'm going to talk to my kinesiology and power fit teacher about it though. He knows a fair amount about it.

Do you use it? Apparently it can have some pretty bad side effects.

It just seems tempting to use for that quick boost. But at the same time, I don't know if that gained water will turn into fat or what.

I think it can mess up your kidneys if you don't take plenty of water with it. Don't quote me on this one but I think you have to continue to take it if you want to keep the weight/muscle gain. I don't know anything about this myself. You should talk to your expert for the best results.

I will tell you this though. One of my senior, hero wrestlers back from my home town took some Ceatine and was just massively big from it, and is still huge to this day. He works out like crazy but it's worked for him.

The brand his Halo. I'm not saying buy Halo or anything but look it up and see what it does.

Yeah that's what I'm worried about. If I would be able to maintain those extra pounds naturally, and it wasn't just fat I'd definitely take it.

Interesting. I've seen the same types of things with people at school. Sometimes they just look unnaturally big though, and I don't think I'd want that. Depends really how much the initial gain would yield.

Yo

It's a natural substance, it's produced in the human body.

It causes weight gain initially by drawing water into your muscles which will improve volume (but not definition) and it will also improve your performances with weight resistance training, specifically when pumping out the last couple of reps on a set. This is because it draws extra energy cells into fatigued muscles, to give you a very basic summary of what it is Creatine does.

When you go off Creatine, you won't lose any muscle and your strength won't go down (though muscle endurance will slightly) but you may lose volume as they will no longer retain water like they did while on Creatine. It's a good process for improving your workouts which will in turn improve your muscle gain.

[bold]Drawbacks[/bold]
Like Professor Gohan said, it can be dangerous if you don't take plenty of water with it, it can lead to dehydration. Some people can get bad stomach pains but I think that is rare. If you have any kidney problems or diabetes consult a doctor first to be safe. Don't take more than the recommended dosage, they usually have a "loading" phase in which you have a higher Creatine intake than you normally would, after that it drops and it's important to stick to this.

The price tends to be high.
