Makankosappo amp

I wonder something about the amp on this attack. In the beginning of the series, it took Piccolo a long time to fire and resulted in a very large amp; later in the series, it could be used pretty much instantly.

My question is: do you think that amp on the "instant" Makan is less than the amp on the long charge-up one? Is it possible that Piccolo could have done an instant one earlier in the series, but didn't think the amp would be high enough to beat Raditz?

Yes I think so for me the longer the attacks charged the better amp it will have so basically Piccolos long charged amp was bigger than those "instant"Piccolo could most liely to one earlier but what's thenpointbit would be somewhat weak to make a significant damage on Raditz ^_^

I don't remember any canon instance of Piccolo ever using the Makankosoppo after Raditz.

However, even if he did, it could be explained by the fact that techniques get easier to perform the more they get used. Goku formed a Kamehameha and launched it in a parpetual instant when he was attacked with Nappa's mouth blast. At the beginning of DB, he could never form a Kamehameha instantaneously.

There's also the fact that ki manipulation got faster and seemed easier for the characters the stronger that they became.

He shot a quick one at Nappa in the manga. He shot one while Krillin shot some kind of blast when Gohan chickened out of using his finishing move.

I was thinking of 1st form Cell using it, but that seems to have been anime exclusive.

I think it has something to do with mastering it. Piccolo did mention he was was just finished developing the Makankosappo, so I reckon he needed time to practice it. Cell, with his cells obviously have them mastered by default.

That's far true but Imo don't you think that a long charges one is stronger than an instant one I dunno...
