Is there any implications that Tenshinhan actually knows Kaioken going by the words: "In the most accurate translation from the manga, Tenshinhan while training under the Northern Kai claims he intends to utilize the basic training Goku took and take it in his own direction." In that case, could it be explained that he just implemented that basic training into his Kikoho and used that on Cell? Could a hypothetical Kaioken amp be possible for the Kikoho? |

That's the First time I'm hearing this and its smart, well i think its possible becuase of the manga quote becuase it also explains the ridiculously high amplification that Kikoho had against Cell I mean it was a lot!if Kikohos was always that powerfull then Imo it would have destroyed Nappa and Vegeta so wthing like"Kaioken Kikoho"is possible otherwise its all plot wise

I've always wondered about that quote. It's a possibility but it's not. I'm sure that would have at least showed up in one of those guidebooks, bios, etc. |

You know, I guess you're right. A quote that vague can't justify all the quotes that should have been on the matter. But, it's a nice thought. |

Tien says he'll utilize the training Goku received but take it in his own direction. Tien creates an attack that allows him to stop someone FAR more powerful than himself. It's fine if you want to conclude that these two events are related... I actually prefer to think of them that way... but as has been said; there is no evidence this is the case, and no guidebook mention etc. That being said, there is also nothing to contradict said theory. Wasn't it mentioned in one of the Daizenshuus that he did learn Kaioken (Daiz 7 I believe)? |

If he knew it he should've used it. Like when he was fighting against the Cell Juniors for example. Or do a Kaio-ken powered up Neo Tri-Beam against Semi Perfect Cell. Just my logic. I think Goku was the only one able to use it with success I'm sure King Kai tried to teach it to others. |

Taking Kaio's training principles and implementing them into his own regime, I find it implausible. Just another excuse to get Tenshinhan in the sack, ey? Well, is it?! Don't you lie to me, billy boy! I'll steal your f***ing waffles and burn them. |

I think it's possible he used a bit of Kai's training to perfect the Tri Beam. I mean, Kaioken multiplying someone's power, and the Tri Beam he used on Cell...adds up. |
