A lot of people don't like DBZ past the Freeza saga, especially when the Buu saga is concerned. Do you think that it was the worst canon saga? For me, although I do like it, it's also my least favorite out of the 4 canon sagas. |

Yes and No. Yes in terms of Story and Plot coherence: Frieza/Saiyan/Cell >>> Buu No in terms of Action because it's right up there with the other sagas Majin Vegeta vs. SSJ2 Goku, Majin Vegeta vs. Fat Buu, Ultimate Gohan vs. Super Buu, SSJ3 Goku vs. Kid Buu |

I like it the most because it pretty much drops the pretence and just has comedy and action, which is really the only thing I think Dragon Ball is worth watching for. The rest of the arcs take themselves too seriously imo, doesn't really have the story to justify it, but I digress. That said, it is still the worst written of arc of the series. |

No. In fact, it's my favorite. All the action of the prior "Z" arcs, with a return of the whimsical goofiness of early Dragon Ball. |

It's a nice arc, but I tend to skip that whole chunk with Gotenks in it. I rather wish that abomination didn't exist. Other than that, it's enjoyable. Not as great as the Cell arc, and not as nostalgic as the Freeza arc, but fine in its own right. |

Yes i hate this buu saga...its the worst of all the three(heck i dont even consider it canon most of the time,for me personally dbz ended after cell saga).... At first the arc uptill the end of freiza saga was my fav..... but this saga repeated so many times in the TV lol i got bored watching it....... now my fav saga is the the whole cell saga(starting from android to cell)........ buu saga is just a disgrace to my fav character piccolo and also future trunks and gohan........ i mean buu saga was so s*** that piccolo decided not to participate in any of the fights......he knew all the villians in it were gum s***(piccolo very smart :p) AND gt sucked so bad that piccolo decided to sucide:( |

It's opinionated and mostly comes from the US; they watch the anime and not read the manga or, they first saw the anime and it's stuck in their heads so even if they read the manga, they'll still hate it. I thought it was great and I like it the most because like Copy_Ninja, it didn't take it's self that serious even though inverse...all hell was breaking loose. In my opinion, a great way to end the series; Gohan got what he wanted, Vegeta finally, truly changed, Goku goes off and is hyped to fight this guy he's been waiting for 10 years and not only that, he gets to pass the torch. I truly believe this is a American thing, fine I don't live in Japan but I feel as though they don't have any problem with it; not even with the Spanish speaking crowd. Till this day I have never seen any legit reason to hate on the Buu saga and when someone brings something up, the other sagas had those same problems lol |

I like it, but a few characters and a half-assed story ruins it for me quite a bit. Can't live up to the Cell arc, for sure. |

I'm curious as to what made the Buu saga's story so horrible. People say it's not on par with this and that but I never see an explanation or comparison. I find it to be a weak copy of the Cell arc. There are unnecessary conflicts, unnecessary techniques and unnecessary transformations. There are also a few plotholes to mention. |

I actually liked the Buu Saga growing up as a kid and even now. I don't really see why people resent this saga so much. It has the good ol classic DB humor in it combined with the intense fights DBZ is known for.

Not at all Buu saga is by far my favorite dbz saga both in canon or anime filler I just think it gave us the best battles in the dbz history and also a villain who made the fighters to really think there's not a change to win

Weak copy of the Cell saga? If you don't mind, explain this and your reasons a bit more. Every thing after that will just be your opinion, and I can't debate that because who am I to say what you should find necessary or unnecessary lol I mean I can easily say those techniques and transformations were necessary. |
