Anyone watch the seahawks? After watching a second string second string QB almost beat them I'm going on record saying they're overrated. |

The second string QB didn't do anything tho. Zac Stacy carried them the whole game. I don't really understand how they can be overrated, when they wooped the 49ers, no disrespect intended.. |

That was at Century links, and it was quite some time ago. They're barely skating by as is now @Hurry, he still put up enough of a fight that they couldn't stop the run game Edited by Fulgore, Oct 29 2013, 05:42 AM.

I watched and I think the Rams Defense carried the Rams all day. I think Clemens played fine, givens did well but Yes Zac Stacey was the consistent threat. He kept chipping away. I very seriously think the Rams could have won that game considering all that happened. Way Way Way too many penalty mistakes on both sides. |

15-31 158 yards and 2 interceptions. Come on now, the Kellen Clemens didn't do anything. But they've only lost one game still...and that too against a very good Colts team. I don't see how they are overrated at all. |

I do think the 49ers are better than the Seahawks. I think they are a bit overrated and are not the top team but, they are still an incredible team. Hope they aren't the number one seed or I think they are Super Bowl bound. |

lmao, what does a super bowl contender do? Win frigging games. Chiefs are 8-0 beating terrible teams and not even blowing them out, and people are calling them an elite team. Broncos offense is off the charts, but their defense is still inept, but they are still an elite team. Seattle is playing just like the Chiefs are right now. A dominant defense along with a healthy dose of an elite running back is leading them to victories. Whether you beat a team by 40 or 4, a win is win in the playoffs and the regular season... As for them having convincing wins, whether you like it or not, I sure as hell saw a convincing win over the 49ers.. Edited by Hurry My Curry, Oct 30 2013, 01:29 AM.

I would say the best team in the NFC right now are the Seahawks. People have said they have showed poor performances at away games, but that seems to be a load of bull. Regardless, they are a contender team, and I very well see them getting to the Superbowl. If they are at home, no one is beating them. Aren't they getting Percy Harvin back soon? Ha, just another weapon to add to their offense.

I don't think it's bull. I mean I don't disagree either. Seahawks are primed to win the division and conference. Clearly tho, the Offensive line sucks and is full of injuries there. I think anyone is capable of beating them but right now they're finding ways to win. Just like past Superbowl Champions have. Like Packers when they were wild cards, same with Giants and Ravens and so on. 2009 might have been the only season in the past 5 years that people have actually expected those teams to be there. Colts and Saint had the best records and were breaking records going into the 2009 superbowl. The other teams like Ravens, Giants, Packers and Cardinals were all underdogs So I can't say that the Hawks will be at the superbowl but they're certainly the best favorite in the NFC. Are they overrated? Maybe because they have such high expectations Yes, but otherwise on a normal scale of 32 teams then I think they live up to the hype. Texans and Falcons have been the ones we should be saying are overrated. They proclaimed to improve so much over the off season and they've not lived up to it |

@HurryMyCurryThe Seahwaks ARE overrated their supposed great defense, The Legion of Boom as they like to call it got demolished/beat by the Texans, Panthers, Colts, Cards, and sadly the Rams.. Lol their D-line is overrated as hell it got destroyed by an average Rams O-line(besides Jake long and Wells) and got absolutely ran over by a RB know one even knew about, granted that kid Zak Stacy is a beast! And their secondary is being badly exposed, hell when Kellen Clemons creates a 90+ drive for a possible gw TD, then that Legion of Boom is false that Rams offense isn't much and drove all the way to the seahawks goal line. Luckily for the Seahawks Zak Stacy got injured and couldn't participate in the GL stand... Better example TY Hilton tore that secondary apart. Why you ask? the seahawks secondary isn't built to cover down field threats like Hilton. Shifty receiver will tear them apart. And so what the Seahwaks beat the Niners what like 6 weeks ago? Yea that was at the C-link, the 49ers had abysmal injuries and only boldin at the WR spot, there was nothing the niners could do tbh, and at that point the niners were still trying to figure out their offense. And didn't run the ball. I can tell you right now they've figured things out lol... Niners haven't lost a game in 5 weeks bruh So what were at the half way point, the Seahawks are ONE Goaline fumble from D. Williams in the panthers game, a POTATOE throw for a pick 6 from the Texans, and a missed FG from Legatron from being 4-4! All of these amazingly lucky plays all occurred late in the 4th Quarter, Pete Carroll must have 6 rabbit legs shoved in his man thong to pull all that off. None of those are convincing wins and could have gone either way, healthy ELITE teams won't let that happen. You think Peyton is gonna throw a pick 6 in the SB? Hell naw if the Hawks do make it to the SB their sorry a*s defense will get torn apart by the AFC champion. No, Alex Smith is playing much better right now than that overrated piece of poop RW is, unlike RW, Alex Smith is actually sustaining drives much better than RW look at last night, RW couldn't get anything going against the same defense that Kaep faced and threw for 167 yards and 2 TD's and Frank Gore ran all over for 153 yards! Marshawn Lynch "the so called Beast Mode" couldn't do jack sh*t against that same defense. Nor did RW( other than that hail Marry to Tate which should have been an int, smh) @Pookie Its not "bull" its fact did you not watch the Texans game, Panthers game, Colts game, and the fugging Rams game? In all those games the Seahawks defense along with their offense seemed mediocre. if you want proof just look up player/offense/defensive stats. If it wasn't for MASSIVE choke jobs by the Rams, Panthers, and Texans the Seahawks would have been 4-4 right now. That addition just became null by the fact that last night the Seahawks best receiver Sydney Rice suffered a torn ACL... And why are people so happy about Harvin he's just a gimmick WR, whose extremely injury prone. Edited by Volt the Mean, Oct 30 2013, 05:47 AM.

The last five games that the 49ers have played 1. Rams 3-5 2. Texans 2-5 3. Cardinals 4-4 4. Titans 3-4 5. Jaguars 0-8 However, the 49eres aren't overrated of course not Volt. When the 49ers actually played a contender team like the Colts or the Seahawks, they got their butts handed to them. I want you to explain to me how that is? How can a team like the Seahawks be overrated, but not the 49ers who obviously only beaten teams that are below .500. The Seahawks are definitely not overrated. I watched how they played against the 49ers, and they were a team that were multi dimensional on offense. Like Rebel X said, they are finding ways to win games even if it is just "luck." Don't you think if they are getting "lucky" then perhaps the "luck" is on their side. When luck is on your side, it is hard to beat that especially when everything is going your way, and you have the talent to back it up. Not to mention, they don't lose home games. As for Percy Harvin, you won't be saying that when he runs for touchdowns passed the 49ers special teams. It's just another weapon to add to their arsenal. All the 8 games that Chiefs have played 1. Jaguars (0-8) 2. Dallas (4-4) 3. Phili (3-5) 4. NYG (2-6) 5. Titans (3-4) 6. Oakland (3-4) 7. Texans (2-5) 8. Browns (3-5) Edited by Pookie, Oct 30 2013, 01:22 PM.

Seahawks and 49ers schedules are basically the same. They both have beaten up on bad teams, only difference, THEY BEAT THE NINERS. |

At home. It's also funny to mention this was week 2. They have done considerably worse since then. 49ers started slow, and now we're dominating. We're on a 5 game winstreak where we've beaten EVERY TEAM by scoring 31 or more points. THE SAME teams the seahawks barely beat. Let's not forget Kaepernick's QBR against the same teams as the lauded Wilson. 99.8 vs Jags 99.0 vs Ten. Best QBRs of the season. (Which are the highest this season, even over the monster Peyton) Keep in mind, 100 is the highest a QB can score for QBR. Kaep's been NEAR PERFECT. Also something to worth mentioning. 99.8 is one point shy of the highest QBR recorded. Tied with michael Vick, and behind only Carson Palmer Tom Brady It was the first time a quarterback has ever registered back-to-back Total QBR’s of 99. Edited by Fulgore, Oct 30 2013, 04:59 PM.

@Fulgore- You do realize those slow games you're talking about were against the Seahawks and Colts right? I mean the 49ers had no trouble in week one against the Packers so what happened in weeks 2 and 3? The Colts and Seahawks were definitely not overrated. These two teams decimated the 49ers despite their "slow" start that you talk about. This tells me that if the 49ers play a team that is actually above .500, they will probably struggle. Seahawks 29 and 49ers 3 Colts 27 and 49ers 7 Edit: Show it to me when he does it against a team that is above .500 please. Edited by Pookie, Oct 30 2013, 06:00 PM.
